okay, so the siants cant play in there dome. Alright thats fine, I understand that. I feel for them and everyone in that region.

So right now they are in San Antonio. They are buying houses there and what not. But they will only have like 3 games there this year. The rest will just be ''away games'' but they will be considered the ''home team''..

So this monday they are playing the giants. Its supposed to be an away game for the giants. But They get to stay home, instead of them going to San Antonio.

WTF?!

How is that fair? The giants get home field advantage now? How is that right?

The saints need to play in San Antonio on the games its supposed to be home.

:mad2:

It's because they had to make a quick decision, and the NFL didnt know if either the Alamodome or LSU's Stadium would be ready for an NFL game, or if they would need to be used for relief efforts.

They made the decision to play at Giants Stadium well before they announced the rest of the games would be split between S.A. and Baton Rouge.

They were going to take it one game at a time, and if they had to, the Saints would have played 16 road games this year. It sucks, but that's the kind of concession you have to make when a natural disaster wreaks havoc on an entire region of the country

wait, what happened? I remember the wildfires, but I don't remember how they did things.

Like I alluded to earlier, this is a "hindsight is 20-20" situation. We know at this moment that San Antonio probably could host a game this Sunday (In fact, I dont even know if they are ready or not), but the NFL didnt know that when they made their decision. They had to make their decision, and they went the safe route, playing the game at Giants Stadium instead of selecting a venue that they didnt know would be suitable for the game, and hoping for the best

For the chargers, they played in nevada or somewhere around there, and just gave away free tickets. Thats what they should do here. The place in SA is Huge

I know Mister D is happy because he's goin to the game and all, but I agree, they should not be playing the game inGiants stadium. They should have at least found a neutral site to play it so that there wasn't so much of an extreme difference between the Saints having home field and now the Giants having home field..

I know a lot of coaches are pissed about this.

I can understand this was a snap decision, but couldn't they have move it to Atlanta or Miami since the Falcons and Dolphins have road games that week?

Visit and shop for video games at my Amazon-based store, also get discounted HD DVDs while they last.

Maybe those two stadiums have other obligations during those days. Often times they book events when they know the team will be away.
