I'm not sure what to make of the Davids transfer, it's going to go one of two ways, either he's absolutely fantastic and inspires Spurs into a top 6 position, which I think they can do this season, or he's going to be terrible and be on his way out in January.

As for Butt, he realised he needs more games if he wants to be in Svens World Cup plans, so that’s why he went to Birmingham. He should do reasonably well, but I said that when he went to Newcastle.

As for Le Tallec, don't know much about him, so I'll reserve judgement.

Everton have agreed a deal worth over £3m for versatile Manchester United star Phil Neville.

The 28-year-old will undergo a medical before joining David Moyes' side on a five-year contract.

"We are absolutely delighted to have concluded a deal with a player of Phil's calibre and vast experience," Moyes told Everton's official website.

"Primarily I see him as a holding midfielder but he gives us several additional options."
Moyes has endured a summer of mounting frustration in the transfer market and was relieved to seal a deal for Neville.

We have staved off a great deal of competition to get him," he said.

"Several clubs were interested in signing him but I must say from the first minute I spoke to him he only wanted to come to Everton."

Neville has won 52 England caps and made 386 appearances for United, although he started only 12 games last season.
Everton have until midnight on Thursday to sign players in time for the Champions League clash against Villarreal at Goodison Park on Tuesday.

Well I didn't see this coming. If anyone was to go I thought It would have been Kleberson. The only thing that springs to mind with this deal is that Michael Owen is on his way to Old Trafford. I bet that deal is done by the end of the day... bank on it!
