| One of my favorite sports writers picked a Premier League team to cheer for Bill Simmons of ESPN.com decided a few weeks ago that he wanted to start following English football, and asked for suggestions as to which team he should support. Yeah, I figured Manchester United would be an obvious choice, since I'm a Yankees fan and all. But it might be TOO obvious. | That was an excellent read from an American point of view and very entertaining from a English point of veiw too (tho as a Liverpool fan I've never ever heard Gerrard called Big Papi!!).
