I'm hoping for USA to be competitive.. I hate it when everyone downs the national team as "they don't play anyone" , etc..

While that may be true, I think they do have some talent.. I'd like to see them win and draw possibly.. Maybe 1-1-1 could get them in.

To be fair to those that have said that in the past, it's usually come in a conversation instigated by an American poster proclaiming them to be a top 6 world ranked team or something, by way of an explanation as to why this is.

You can't be baited in by those people.. haha.. They know nothing about footy. With the little that I know, I'm smart enough to realize that the rankings are as flawed as Meltzer's 5 star ratings.

For the U.S,,, I believe we can take out Ghana. Why? because I've never heard of Ghana in footy. I guess that's not much of a reason but c'mon, how good could they be?

So we beat Ghana and we tie either the Czech's, Italians, or both and there you have it. Round of 16 here we come.
