Chelsea is worse than the Yankees I just saw on TV that the dude that bought the Chelsea soccer "futbol" team spend 150 million on the team, which to me isnt that crazy... But then he went out and bought 775 million dollars worth of free agents from around the globe??!?!?!?! Is this accurate? If so, that is absolutely ABSURD !! What are the salaries of some of these players?? Hook an ignorant American up. | |

Rep Power: 53 | Chelsea signed a German free agent called Micheal Ballack yesterday, he's estimated to be on £130,000 a week which is about £6.75 Million a year which translates into roughly 11.5 Million US Dollars a year over 3 years plus a signing on fee which I think would be at least 7 Million U.S Dollars | |

Rep Power: 41 | If you count the total dollar value of all the Yankees contracts, it's probably close to that number, if not more. Alex Rodriguez gets 25 mil a year for the next 4 years. Thats 100 mil right there. Plus 39 million for Johnny Damon, 50 million or so for Hideki Matsui, Giambi probably has about 50 million left on his contract too. | |
