After winning his debut match against Consequences Creed he looked to be getting some sort of an initial push. Unfortunatly for him, it only lasted one match as he lost to Chris Sabin the next time out. In his third TV match he was paired with the ultimate TNA Heel jobbers, Sonjay Dutt & Jimmy Rave. Am i the only one hoping he gets back to winning soon? I liked him in his debut and he looked to have potential to be big in the X-Division. At this rate though, he'll be on Xplosion every week.

I wish both him and Tanahashi would be used effectively. I haven't seen epic loads from either, but I've liked what I've seen so far and have heard mostly great things.

There really messing up the X division. We need the X division from the early days. The Daniels,Joe and AJ times. We can have Homicide, Shelley and Sabin.. as well as Kiyoshi

The problem they have with these Japanese guys who come over for excursions is that they will return to their home company in a few months time, so there is little reason for TNA to invest time and effort into building them up when they won't be there in a few months time.
Tanahashi could have been used much better though, Kiyoshi is nothing special.

In fairness, the early days consited of Low-Ki, Jerry Lynn and AJ Styles. Daniels was rarely used in the beginning and it was a few years before Joe came along. I think we got spoiled in 2005 anyway. Joe, Styles and Daniels can be considered world class and were in the X-Division, now we expect everyone to live up to their standards which is nearly impossible to do. Counting Shelley and Sabin as tweeners, Bashir is the top heel. Compare him to Samoa Joe and its a no contest as to when the better talent was around.

The X-Division is perfectly fine right now. Sure, it's not in it's glory days by any means, but Shelley, Sabi, Bashir, Lethal and others are really heating it up. Kiyoshi, meh, I could care less about him. He was good, but there are better in TNA.

Agreed with this. Kiyoshi's not getting momentum behind it because he doesn't deserve it as much as others. As well, as has been mentioned, he won't be sticking around for long. All the spare momentum in the X Division should be going to Shelley anyway. He's been waiting years to have that belt, he's deserving of it, and he's one of the only guys that can help add some value back to it.
Not that I lust over the days when guys like Kiyoshi might be booked with more respect; that's just not the direction TNA go in any more. We may be seeing a Homicide/Shelley feud soon though, so be excited.
