The only way Foley would be a draw for me is if he is booked in some sort of gimmick match. The man is hella up there in age and he has never had the most wrestling talent in the world. I'd go as far to say that the only reason he had a job in wrestling and the main reason he is popular is because he is willing to take huge bumps.
Nothing to do with his amazing charisma, fantastic psychology, great brawling, emotion and being one of the best talkers in history then?

There are people who can talk and brawl as well as Foley? I watch some ROH. I have not seen many people with Foley's raw emotion, charisma and ability to put on such entertaining matches.

There are a ton of wrestlers in ROH who have all the same qualities.Epecially the brawling skills of Foley, but they dont have to do insane stunts like him to get over. Nigel Mcguinness vs Bryan Danielson is a match that comes to mind which shows off everything Foley can do, plus with wrestling ability. Minus and ridiculous stunts of course.

Oooooh, I was agreeing with you until I saw this post. All the famous Dragon vs Nigel matches had a bunch of dangerous shit in them. The headbut sequence from their Driven match is just as dangerous as anything Foley has done. Plenty of ROH guys do ridiculous spots and bumps.
I love Foley, but as far as in-ring ability goes, it's his work ethic and willingness to take huge bumps that made him stand out.

So you don't consider him one of the best brawlers ever? Didn't the observer name him best brawler for years in a row? <,<
I know those qualities you pointed out are part of what made him a great brawler, but it takes more than that. And I am glad you italicised 'in-ring ability', because there is so much more to him than that too.

Oh dont get me wrong, the match had its spots but I dont remember barbed wire covered object, mini bombs in the ring, basball bats on fire and such. If anything the headbutts would fall into the brawling aspect wouldnt they?

Are you saying all Foley's good matches had those things?
