So I just watched the first iMPACT of the new year, which was main evented by LAX and Beer Money Inc, and it left me wondering where is all the praise for BMI coming from. Don't get the impression this is the only match of theirs I've watched, it isn't >_>. I've seen people calling them the best tag team around, but when I watch them all I see is a bog standard tag team. Standard tag team offence with standard tag team strategy, really nothing about them at all (apart from maybe the look) makes them stand out in my opinion. Hell, the ultra-stale-as-faces LAX were far far more impressive.
So I have to ask, what's so special about Beer Money?

The look is part of it, and I like how similar they are. They are basically just a tag team who seem natural in everything they do. Their looks, their characters and their styles just go together well, and they as soon as they started teaming they looked like they had been a team for years. I personally enjoy their offence and their double team moves, although the dirty finishes are really getting stale now. I may go as far as calling them the best tag team around, but is that really such a ludicrous claim? How many great tag teams are there in mainstream wrestling right now? Beer Money just work. I think another reason people like them is the fact that 2 very good heels are being used well. For a while I thought Storm was never going to amount to anything, but now it looks more likely that he will.

This may be a contraversial thing to say, but I'd take Cryme Tyme over BMI any day. Both teams have charisma and the look, but Cryme Tyme have way better offence and get way more of a reaction.
I have nothing wrong with BMI's look, I love the look. And I agree they certainly give off the feel that they are a legit team. It's just in the ring it seems to fall apart from me. They don't do ANYTHING to make themselves standout. No particularly interesting offence or strategy, or any remarkably heelwork or anything.

Well I see them as kind of a throwback team. They don't have many flashy moves, they just do the basics well and produce good matches. I would take their ring style over Cryme Tyme's any day, and at least they are a credible team. Cryme Tyme are just a joke.

How are Cryme Tyme a joke? They are probably the most over tag team in mainstream America and nine out of ten times they look good in defeat.
"Throwback" just seems to be another word for "bland" to me. They do the basics and nothing else, and they do it basically. They need more interesting offence, better strategy, better heelwork, more intensity. SOMETHING.

Calling LAX ultra-stale as a face team is harsh. Hell, calling them stale is harsh. Sure, they're better as heels but... ah, it's irrelevant, they're all but split up... maybe.
But yeah, Beer Money. I didn't see the match you saw. Beer Money aren't the ones for innovative offence or stuff like that. The strength of the team comes from Roode and Storm as separate halfs. Athletically, they may not display an incredible spectacle but they're decent heels, charismatic and all.
How is calling LAX stale harsh? I really have no interest in them anymore and their matches are always pretty similar with the same spots. TNA have taken away everything which made them interesting in the first place imo.

I see BMI as one of the only TNA attractions at the moment. No one except angle in MEM draw any of my attention Not even Scott Steiner. LAX.. good tag team but mic skill wise and promo wise cant touch either storm or rhoode.
Best tag team in wrestling at the moment, alot better than Cryme Tyme who are so stale now i swith over when they come on.
how can you compare Beer Money with Cryme time... and saying Cryme time has more Charisma, looks...wtf. are you joking?? Cryme time must be one of the lamest tag teams around. it's for a reason they never have a title reign... the gimmick could be a good one if they were heel, but now... yo yo yo, Money money yeah yeah... and each time they got owned big time by mizz and morrison.
you mark for cryme time but i did'n see them do any high flying moves or bring something new and innovative...

Which really could be said of any mainstream wrestlers. I mean, the Dudley Boys have carried on doing the same stuff for I don't know how long, and they're certainly less versatile than LAX.
