Last night on Impact, Jay Lethal used his Feast or Fired contract to get a shot at the tag titles with his partner Consequences Creed, and together they ended Beer Money's impressive run with the belts to become TNA Tag Team Champions. What do you think of this decision? Are they a good choice for Champs? Did Beer Money need more time?
On the one hand I think Beer Money were getting slightly stale, mainly because the dirty finishes to their matches were so similar and repetitive, but I think they should have got a little longer with the titles. The team of Lethal and Creed just seems so thrown together, and I am not really a fan of Consequences Creed.
This makes the match at Genesis this Sunday a triple threat for the tag belts with former Champions Beer Money and Abyss and Morgan, who were scheduled to face Beer Money at the PPV.
Thoughts?

It's cool that they let X-Division wrestlers shine in another division, but I never saw Creed and Lethal team up before. It kind of took away cred. from Beer Money, but meh.
I'd punch a hobo directly in the face for TNA to finally wake up and push James Storm into the main event already.
I can't see him getting a main event push anytime soon with the whole Main Event Mafia thing going on. The thing is they have two potential World Champions in Storm and Roode. I personally prefer Storm, but both men have great potential and could be very successful heel main eventers. Surely their time will come, but I think Beer Money was and is a good way to use them at this stage, while others are in the spotlight anyway.

Even though they gave it to the wrong tag team, what was wrong with MCMG or Morgan & Abyss? This further loses TNA's credibility of the tag team titles. Why throw a team like that together for no reason? This will probably spell the end of Beer Money hopefully a Harris-Storm fued will happen with Storm getting the win and moving into the main event ranks.

Well Morgan and Abyss were scheduled to get a shot at the PPV. Also, I consider Abyss and Morgan a thrown together team too.
MCMG are involved in the X Division Title Tournament so right now they are kind of tied up. I would love to see them defeat Creed and Lethal though. I agree with you about the team being thrown together and the credibility of the titles being damaged though.

I've never liked Roode, dude just bores me to tears.. but Storm, Jesus, dude has a huge up side. Honestly, with a face turn, Storm could be one hell of a member of the Frontline. Like Styles, James has been with TNA since day one and has been a huge part of their history with a whole slew of classic matches under his belt. If he just transitions his cocky beer drinking character into a babyface role, drops Jackie like a hot rock and aligns himself with AJ and Joe.. win.

Me = going to WrestleMania 25, The HOF and ROH's next PPV, what what? Two national pay per view events in one weekend, not bad..
So I don't get it, they took the belts away from Beer Money Inc for 3 fucking days? How does that help anyone involved? Lethal and Creed are stamped with the short title reign while Beer Money Inc suffers a break in the middle of their domination. Having these short meaningless title reigns hurts everyone involved.

It got rid of that damn case that they had no reason to have in the first place...now TNA can just use these two as fillers....until Jay gets another spring towards M/e failure.

Wouldn't it make more sense to have Lethal/Creed use the case, but have Beer Money cheat to win? Beer Money would still have the belts, Creed/Lethal would be remembered for having the champions beat and we'd actually have a feud from all of this mess.
