Ok, so this thread may seem fairly generic, but I think it is quite an interesting question. Last night on Impact, TNA showed us some of the matches they are most proud of from the year that was 2008, and I didn't feel they were anything special. It got me thinking about how bad the year was for TNA, at least in terms of match quality, something they always used to have over WWE. 2007 was criticised a lot on here, but at least it did feature some very good matches (although admittedly not many).
What would be your top 5 TNA matches from 2008, and looking at your list, do you think the quality of TNA matches is good enough?

#1 Jeff Jarrett vs Kurt Angle BFG
#2 Kurt Angle vs Samoa Joe at Lockdown
#3 Monsters Ball at BFG
#4 Christian Cage vs Kurt Angle at Final Resoultion i think?
#5 MCMG vs Beer Money Inc on a Impact, i think it was a strap match.

I vote for Kurt Angle vs Samoa Joe at Lockdown, that match was built like nothing else ever on the PPV and the match had a very fresh aproach(spelling :\ ) ! I liked that they tried to do something more MMA style it was pretty cool to see. The second match I can call out right now is Kurt Angle versus Abyss on Turning Point it was great too.
All I have decided so far is that that match is going to be #1.
I honestly forgot it, i haven't been watching TNA much, and i forgot about that match. It was a great match, at Hard Justice right? Damn, well it would be #1, but i forgot To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

1. Angle vs Abyss
2. Angle vs Joe (Lockdown)
3. Angle vs Styles LMS
I'm starting to notice a theme here....
4. Angle vs Jarrett
5. Monsters Ball, the Special Enforcer brought it down a few places.
