Now I know I'm not the only Alex Shelley fan here, and usually when he gets up we usually praise him. This thread will be no exception. I've been thinking about how Shelley has been booked as of late in TNA, and I've been thinking..they could totally run with it. Though I didn't see Final Resolution, I heard Borash basically called Shelley and Sabin "annoying assholes" which well; is what they do. It's been more so Shelley than Sabin being considered the asshole. Now we have also have seen Foley 'disgusted' with how Shelley acts and once again..here's another oppurinity to roll with something.

We have Shelley, knowing that he is a wise/smart ass and what not..use that as his advantage. He's in the X Division tournament and personally, him being a complete prick could be his way to success or at least further up in the company. We just have him purposely piss off everybody. Now, another thing also comes into play. How will he win matches? This is where we throw Sabin in..and have him help Shelley and here. But not all the time, we want Shelley looking goooooood!

Though I don't condone this, have Shelley's success lead to Sabin's jealously. I know it's completely generic and is the biggest asshole ripped that there could be, but it would make sense.

But that's just my idea.

The whole jealousy thing only works if they're faces imo.

I want them to stay a team. I think it is a good use of them at this stage. The only problem is that Suicide is currently owning them all the time, which makes them look pretty bad. Aside from that, I think they work great together and I love the way they act like total assholes about everything. I wouldn't be against Shelley getting a singles push in the future but right now I don't want to see the Guns split.

Nah, I actually think that Sabin and Shelley should split. They have been alright as a team, had some good matches and everything but its just time for them to go into singles wrestling again. They haven't won the tag titles, probably never will and they sure as hell ain't gonna get them by being in an X-Division title tournament. I don't see the point in having them on a team when all your doing with them is putting them in singles action anyways. Neither men are my favourite but they both are great, Shelley plays a better heel role then Sabin does imo so having him split off and become the best X-Division heel which he could easily do would be awesome leaving Sabin who could just change his ways and say Shelley was his mate and he didn't wanna leave him but he didn't like how angry/cocky he was getting or something smilar leaving Sabin face. I hope they do something soon though cause they are being wasted.

Agreed with most of this. I think that Sabin/Shelley could be essential in the tag division in TNA, but they just aren't being booked well as a team so it won't happen. Plus, now most of the time we see them together is mainly through segments. I agree they aren't going to get the titles by what's going on at the moment, which is a shame. They're one of my favorite teams theres been, but..I want to see both go their separate ways.

Sabin really doesn't need to change much, he's been the same for quite a while now. I think that both could have great success again in the single division. Though technically, it was really Sabin being used and not Shelley.

The only thing I wouldn't want coming out of it, is a generic partner vs partner feud.

Shelley deserves this push think about all the things he could do? Problem is in my opinion is the current gimmick he is in "whiny" little kid in the frontline. But hopefully TNA decides in the future Shelley is what we need in the main event.

Well he may be X Division Champion after this Sunday. Personally I hope he does win it, although I have heard from a few people that he is not popular within TNA. If he doesn't get the title, at least Sabin can win it.
