'll be the first to admit, that when the faction stared, I thought oh boy, here we go with the 60+ year old wrestlers running the show - but in recent weeks, they have seemed to change my mind.
The Godfather role sting plays is brilliant how he doesn't attack anyone and his people do it,
Kurt Angle is one of the most impressive wrestlers at his age today, but for some reason, he never gets any praise. A lot smaeks like to say Angle lost it.. Well I beg to differ because now he's as good as he's ever been.
Kevin Nash and Scott Steiner play the enforcer role to a tee, and Nash has been improving in the ring. Now we gotta see Scott in action.
Booker T on the other hand I don't understand. I understand that he's a former big main eventer, but what is his purpose in the group? I guess we'll find out soon.
With your last point about Booker T, it's for the guys that have been around for a long time. Booker has been around since the 90's, and has been in the biggest companies and been successful in all, so it makes sense for him to be included.
I like the idea of the Main Event Mafia, but only if it's booked so that the Frontline also get a rub from being involved with these guys. That includes guys like Jay Lethal, Eric Young & Consequences Creed, all getting to shine against the bigger names. Plus, they are also getting shown in association with Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Team 3D & Rhino, who are all big names in their own rights.
If this is correctly done, I believe that only good can come from this angle to benefit the younger guys.

Yeah, it is an obvious attempt to get the young guys some exposure. My worry is that it'll backfire and have the Main Event Mafia looking all dominant and the young guys getting nothing out of it. That's my main worry.

Each member shows Charisma and shows that they can easily be the best Faction in the Business! Kurt Angle, Sting and Booker and Nash to a less extent all show great Charisma and are perfect for the role.
If only Booker would get rid of the gay failure Jamaican "accent", then it would be ok.
Yeh, That is getting really annoying tho.
I lol'd when he said 'In my home country we shoot Elephants,' then the Ring Announcer said From Houston Texas, ROFL! Booker needs to get a new gimmick tho.
I don't watch TNA much, but I do keep up with results and occasionally watch some stuff on youtube or DM, so these views may be a bit off, but here we go...
The initial idea itself was nice, but quite clearly way to ambitius for a company as dumb as TNA. Us vs Them angles are very tricky and have to be very precise and well thought out. First of all, I should say I really dug Sting in the mafia at first. I loved seeing him in a suit without the make up but glasses on all the time, it was the most interesting he's been in years. But, I could be wrong here, from what I understand he hasn't turned full heel yet and is still doing this annoying tweener shit. Clearly the best thing to have done would be to just make him of all people the biggest heel in TNA. Which brings me to another point, why the fuck is Kurt Angle the leader of the MEM when he isn't even a champion? Speaking of champions, why the fuck did they even bring in the Legends title? That would make sense if the MEM didn't already have a title in their ranks. Not just any title either, the title. They deem the legends title is only for legends, why couldn't they have just done that with the World Title? It makes no sense, other than just giving Booker something to do. SPEAKING of Booker, my God, his promos make me want to slit my wrists. He looks like an absolute moron, yet he's trying to be all high and mighty. Oh and then there's Nash and Steiner. I'll give them a pass because they serve a purpose even if they are both useless in the ring at this point.

I like it, but i think it's getting Stale, every time a feud like this happens the heels always get the last laugh on EVERY Impact. It's getting to predictable, it sucks IMO, i want Sting to turn face already, and Angle vs Sting will happen again (IMO anyway). TNA is making the WCW mistake, by having the whole roster invovled in this feud, that's gonna be their down fall tbh.
