The TNA babyface group going against the Main Event Mafia, formerly called the TNA Originals, will be getting a new name since many of the members were not originals. The new name will be more than likely announced at the TV tapings this Monday and Tuesday in Orlando, FL.
- The top heels in the Main Event Mafia (Sting, Kurt Angle, Kevin Nash, Booker T and Scott Steiner) are all said to be very much into the new angle and feel like the crowd response to the angle is hot. It should be noted that TNA World Champion Sting not being involved in the beatdowns is serving two purposes. The first is to play off the movie “The Godfather” where he watches his boys do the dirty work. The second is if they make the decision to have him break off from the group then they can bring up that he never fully joined in the beatdowns. Sting did join in on a beat down this past week on iMPACT.

if they are going for a new name. they need to think about to samoa joe shoot on hall. joe said it best when he said something on the lines of we have superstars who come here and collect money for their petion while tna die hards bust their ass to make tna the best company in the world. it was something like that. anyways i would go with Tna Die Hards.

I'm liking the way Sting is being played out right now, he's in a perfect role. He seems so bad ass and it seems as though he is controlling the others.
I hope they don't give the originals a real name. They aren't a faction, they are just fighting a faction -_-.
