I have been meaning to make this thread for a while, because Rhino really pisses me off. I used to enjoy his intense animalistic character in WWE, and he was pretty good in his early days in TNA too, but now he has become so unbelievably bland. They basically just throw him in as a filler face in every feud, having him come down and save people, no matter who they are and how pointless the feud they are involved in. He is basically just a generic face on the side of all the other faces, whether it be main eventers, X Division wrestlers, Knockouts, America, he is always on the 'good' side. He basically has no real character left at this point, and I am pretty sick of seeing him in predictable and unimaginative matches.

Yeah you're right LOL! He had a feud with James Storm which involved his alcohol problem and I thought that was pretty raw and had a serious edge to it. He really needs a new program perhaps a tag team run or maybe a heel turn.

That feud started out great. Especially when Storm had Rhino cuffed to the ropes and hit him with the beer bottle, poured beer in his mouth and stuff. I thought it was going to become something amazing, but it kind of lost momentum. Since then all he has been doing is playing superman and making random saves.

Really Rhino is the most stale? You havent been bored with 10 years of homosexual kip James or Scott, borderline racist, anti anywhere outside of America, fat fan hating, Big Bad Booty Daddy, I fucked up my line so I'll say something incohearant, Steiner? Rhino is nothing more than a mid carder and thats all he'll ever be. TNA gave him the NWA Championship when he first arrived because he was a former WWE wrestler. They have done that with just about every wrestler from another company. Within two years they have a Championship and then they slide into their normal roles. For Rhino, its putting people over.
I enjoy Rhino because he is a solid wrestler, but his persona has become quite stale. I do remember seeing him come out and it was the only entrance that literally got me pumped. Which is something you don't get when you watch it on television. The thing Rhino has to stop doing is ending his promos with "GORE! GORE! GORE!" I mean, he can say something more creative than that. He has been in the business for a long time now, you think we would be much better on the microphone. I enjoy seeing Rhino as a filler for match and to put some of the younger guys over.
But otherwise, I just like Rhino because he is Rhino. He's always been respectful to his fans and other wrestlers which is a cool thing to have in the business. I do happen to agree he is stale though, but it's like Hogan or Austin. All they do is the same thing time after time, but we love when they do it because it's them. Rhino hasn't been able to create that much of a buzz so instead of seeing it as timeless and classic we get bored of it. I'm sure if Rhino left the business for awhile and then came back one day down the line sliding into the ring and goring someone we would all be very excited. But, he hasn't really had a break from wrestling so it isn't really exciting anymore.

How is the most stalest wrestler? It's only because your comparing him amongst the TNA roster, (who are mixed because of this cross the line thing) just becuase he's a distinct face doesn't make him stale. If that was the case Cena/Tista/HHH/Jeff and much of the WWE roster are all stale because they always do the 'right' things and are predictable.
His feuds with Styles/Storm may have lost momentum after a while, but I found them entertaining, and were some of the best feuds, psycology wise, TNA has produced in the past 2 or so years.
I can understand boring or maybe stale to an extent, but the most stale man in wrestling today is a bit of an overstatement.
I was pretty excited to see him debut in TNA in 2005. After years of doing nothing and being beyond stale in the WWE, it looked like we were going to see the return of the bad ass ECW Rhino. The last minute choice to put the NWA title on Rhino due to the problems with Nash at BFG 2005 made for my favorite night for wrestling that year. However, once Cage and others came into the company, they didn't need Rhino anymore. Keeping him face all of these years doesn't do him any favors either.
I'd love it if he would just snap and turn heel joining the MEM. Rhino is a former World Champion in ECW and TNA. It'll be a perfect fit with Sting/Booker being the former WCW champions, Nash/Angle being the former WWE Champions and Rhino being the former ECW champion.

I don't think he's stale as a sense of a wrestler. He's a great wrestler, and while at the show this past week, I was actually pretty entertained with his match against Davairi. lol.
He is stale as a gimmick or on the mic, I should say. He may be boring on the mic, but he's not that boring as a wrestler. For a guy his size, he can actually pull off some good matches and whatnot. But there may still be somewhat of an edge for him in the future. Every wrestler usually goes stale once in a while, but then they get a certain edge, even if it's only for a few hours, or even a good solid couple of months.
We can only see how it goes from here on out.

I agree, Rhino has become Very Stale. They need for him to get kayfabe injured, Come back strong, with a new gimmick. IMO that could be the only thing to save Rhino.
