The following took place on Monday in Orlando, FL.
TNA Impact Tapings for November 13:
- The show opened with Mick Foley addressing Samoa Joe, The Motor City Machineguns, Petey Williams, Consequences Creed, AJ Styles and Jay Lethal. Foley said everyone did a good job at the Turning Point PPV. Alex Shelley ignores Foley. Foley gets mad and said he would deal with him next week. He tells Joe and Styles that they need to learn from their mistakes or the Main Event Mafia will take them out again. Foley said Eric Young did a good job at the PPV and granted him a title shot at the X Division Title tonight. He also announces Joe and Styles vs. Beer Money, Inc. and Sting vs. Jay Lethal for the TNA World Title.
- TNA Knockouts Champion Awesome Kong & Raisha Saeed defeated Roxxi & Taylor Wilde.
- Eric Young defeated Sheik Abdul Bashir to become the new TNA X Division Champion.
- Scott Steiner defeated Rhino.
- TNA World Champion Sting defeated Jay Lethal. The Machineguns ran down to help Lethal, but Lethal refused the help. Joe and Styles came out and argued with The Machineguns.
- Backstage, the Main Event Mafia is shown beating down Petey Williams (except for Sting). Scott Steiner throws Petey off a ladder and he is shown all bloody. Nash said if they wanted a war they got one.
- TNA World Tag Team Champions Beer Money, Inc. defeated Samoa Joe & AJ Styles via DQ when Tem 3D interfered.
- The Main Event Mafia came out to the ring without Sting and called out Christian Cage. Angle asked Cage where the suit was that they gave him. He questions Cage's committment and said he heard a rumor that when Cage's deal with TNA was up that he was going back to WWE. Angle then announces this wasn't a welcoming party, but a goodbye party. The Mafia attacks Cage and pose over him.
I guess this answers all our question.

I really hope this has no legitmacey to it, WWE won't do shit with Christian. Trust me. Maybe a little involvement with Edge and then down to midcard, but not shit. This was a smart send off, though.

No he wasn't. On RAW, yeah he got in the mainevent as a third wheel, and it seemed as he would get pushed. Then they moved him to SD and screwed him over.
But this iMPACT seems pretty decent.

So just because on Raw, he wasn't the main focus of the show, that means he was badly booked?
I think Christian is very good but he is overrated. If he had stayed in WWE he would have been World Champion, but he would never be the kind of guy you could base the show around.

I def never said he was treated bad on RAW. He was treated very well on RAW, but that was not right before he left. He left after being on SD for some time, becuase he was being treated so badly.

But the way you said he was used as a third wheel seemed to indicate that you thought he should have been a bigger deal on RAW too. Apologies if that is not what you meant.
Yeah I agree he was treated badly on Smackdown, but it wouldn't have lasted long in my opinion. I firmly believe he would have been a World Champion within a year or two.

Oh well, I'm going to Final Resolution. It's gonna be weird having two Final Resolution 2008's. lmao. But this looks like a good iMPACT. Hopefully Christian won't leave. I highly doubt he will, because they wouldn't announce it that much in the show. I'm sure he'll stay, they're just using it for a storyline. They did the same thing with Angle and Jarret. Like.. Angle saying something in a paper and he got suspended?

Yup. I'll be sure to trust you over the WWE writers. They seem to be doing a lot of bad this year, right? Damn WWE.
