After watching this week's opening segment of IMPACT, I'm seeing what could be a heel turn on Cage's part. Now as well all know, he's going up against the "New Company: New Accent" Booker T, and if he loses..he joins the Main Event Mafia. But, from that segment alone...whether Christian wins or losses, I can see him joining either way. He brought up "I am Legend" and IF he wins, knowing TNA..maybe have some of the younger guys come out and celebrate and lead into the next match. And while celebrating, Booker gets back up and talks trash to Cage, and while doing so..the younger guys make a circle around Booker making it so he can't leave. Cage will than 'direct' them to attack, but really....Booker turns around. Than they proceed to 'beat em down to the nitty gritty'.
I'm iffy on it happening.

I can't see a chance in hell of Christian being able to win the 'championship' in this match. He may win via DQ, but that'll be the best.
This whole Legends Championship is meant to be something to put the MEM over as arrogant heels. Booker has declared himself to be a legend, and has awarded himself the belt, putting over the purpose of the MEM. It would be illogical to have Cage win the belt off of him, especially seen as how I don't want to see Cage side with the Originals.
If Booker wins, I see Cage sorta staying out of the MEM for awhile. He's known as a member, but he fights against it, looking like he doesn't want to be there. He tries to side with the young guys. Then, we get to maybe the January Pay Per View, and he turns full blown heel, joining the MEM and destroying the Originals. The MEM said it was a plan all along, and they now have even more power over TNA, with the 'Instant Classic' on their side.

I think Cage belongs in the MEM because he is best known to a mainstream audience for his work outside of TNA, in the WWE both with Edge and as a singles star. I think it would kind of defeat the point to have him as one of the young guys fighting against these prima donnas, and obviously James makes a great point in that handing him the legends title wouldn't do anyone any favors. The title is only there to get them heat, and I think they should keep both that and the World Title for a long time. Seeing all these guys in suits and shades with two title belts between them, it just makes it look like a real power faction which has taken over TNA, and this will only help the young guys more when they finally defeat them. I hope Sting keeps the belt, and I hope Booker defeats Christian and keeps the Legends Title.
Since turning face, I feel Christian has lost his way a little anyway. I am a big fan and I think he is great on the mic whether that be in a face or heel role, but his character has suffered with the face turn. He suits the arrogant, cocky heel persona, and I would love to see him turn fully heel and establish himself as part of the MEM. With those six guys all part of the group, it would be difficult to see how the young guys could stop them, but that is the way it should be. They should be constantly battling against the odds in this war.

I agree Christian has lost his flame as a face, as I personally prefer him as a heel. But, I think they should continue to build up to him finally choosing a side. I agree that Christian is a more noticeable name to the Mainstream audience, but with that..him being apart of the young generation. It could possibly get the people thinking(though I doubt it) Hey, He really loves this company and what not yada yada.
I could eventually seeing Cage teasing Joe of joining again, and than turning on him or something of the sort.

I'd love to see him turn heel, but not join the MEM. Like I've said before, him forming a third faction with The Machine Guns would be an awesome free radical to toss in the middle of the "originals / MEM" feud.

A third faction would be interesting, but I think many would feel that it overcomplicates matters, when the MEM vs TNA Originals angle should be forcing everyone to choose a side rather than stay in the middle. It wouldn't seem as big of a deal if there was this 'middle ground' faction, in my opinion at least.
I think Cage is a great heel and would fit into the MEM perfectly well.

Agreed. This is about splitting the company into two groups, with a war to happen. Add in a third group, and all you're doing is overcomplicating things. You're making the war not seem so big, as you don't have to be one side or another.
The whole thing seems more major if you have to pick one team or the other.
