On iMPACT!, we saw Scotty Steiner make his return and clean house of the younger guys. He hit everyone, except Petey. Petey was great, as he looked kinda scared, backing off a bit, with Steiner choosing not to hit him, and instead hit people like AJ. Hopefully, this is hinting at them starting something.
The matches wouldn't be great, sure. But I'd love to see them actually do something with Petey. It would be good to just see him being used in a feud for a change. The story is there, now TNA just needs to go through with it.
Thoughts?

I'm curious to see if TNA even acknowledges it. If they do it'll be pretty interesting. Maybe put them in multi-man matches and have them refuse to fight each other and instead just tag out? I'm definitely curious.

Well I'm hoping they don't squander this opportunity. The build up in multi man matches would be interesting, although I'm not sure about having them refusing to hit each other. Maybe just being tagged out before they can come into contact.

Well, what I was thinking of was something similar to the build up of Kane and 'Taker reuniting back in 2001. Leading up to the Rumble they were teasing an alliance between the two. They would compete on opposite teams in six man tags and when they were tagged in against each other they'd maybe throw a punch or two, or toss the other one into their team's corner and tag out. Not so much outright refusal.

I hate the Petey Pump gimmick. All the rip off gimmicks in TNA are just annoying.
The altercation between the two were great though. Both sides hate each other, but Scotty wouldn't lay a hand on Petey. It could lead to neither men hurting each other and the rest of their sides would get all pissed and confused. Could be good.
