At Bound For Glory, Jeff Jarrett defeated Kurt Angle in the blow off to one of the most heated rivalries ever. Kurt Angle, being the competitive man he is wasn’t about to accept this result. Angle snapped, declaring he would attack everyone until he got to Jarrett. He would make TNA pay.
Angle started out, going after the Rock n Rave Infection, and the Prince Justice Brotherhood. He then moved up, attacking Abyss. Abyss wasn’t about to lay down though, he fought back, much to the anger of Angle. Angle ran though, not wanting to receive a beating.
Despite Abyss suffering burns to his back at Bound For Glory from a powerbomb through a flaming table, he still wanted to go after Angle. The two were scheduled for a match on iMPACT!, with Angle brutalising Abyss, scratching at his burns and hitting him with a chair, resulting in a DQ finish.
The match for Turning Point was then announced, with the two to face off, hopefully to settle their differences. Who will be able to be called the better man?

I liked their match way back when, and this should be another solid under card match. Both styles should work together nicely, and Angle is still able to put up great matches.

This will be decent. Abyss hasn't had a good match in quite a while, but I think if he is ever going to have an impressive match at this stage, wrestling Angle gives him the best chance.

I'm pretty disappointed there wasn't much hype for this on iMPACT! They ran a video with the MEM bagging the young guys, but Abyss had the ladder match, while Angle faced the really young guys, and EY.

Yeah I thought that was weird. Every match on the card should get some sort of build the show before the PPV, especially one as high profile as this. It was weird that they were doing seperate things, and that was the first Impact I have watched in a while so I am unsure of the details of their feud.

Read my crappy description for how their feud has gone down thus far.
After Angle attacked the burns of Abyss last week, I at least expected some terraction between them this week. Angloe got himself DQ'ed in their match, so you would expect Abyss to want revenge. Odd booking.

Very. It is extremely strange to have no interaction between them the week before the PPV.
It is a match which intrigues me anyway. It just seems weird that Abyss and Matt Morgan were focused on other things, the tag titles, on Impact this week. I think these two could produce a pretty good match and surprise a few people, despite the fact that Abyss hasn't been too great since his return. Angle is still capable of getting a good match out of anyone.
