Mick Foley Causes Big Changes in TNA?, Why iMPACT Lacked Good Wrestling, Free Match
Quote:
- Time Warner’s On Demand free events preview is now featuring Christian Cage and Robert Roode vs. Booker T and Kaz from last year’s Turning Point pay-per-view.
- Regarding the lack of good matches on the recent live TNA iMPACT from Vegas, the Sheik Abdul Bashir vs. Jay Lethal match was supposed to be a long match and be the good match early on in the show. However, the Christy Hemme vs. Velvet Sky match and segment after the match went longer than planned, as did other segments on the show, so officials felt restricted on time. The feeling was they couldn’t cut the battle royal, the Knockouts Title match or the main event back anymore so we ended up with whatever they could pull off.
- Since Mick Foley has been brought in to TNA, the company has been bringing in less of the regular talents for iMPACT tapings, since so much of the show is now built around more interview time. Lots of the regular talents weren’t brought to Las Vegas for the live iMPACT and weren’t brought into Orlando for the recent tapings. There has also been less comedy at the recent tapings, so it appears TNA is taking a bit of a different direction in booking.

I have not been watching since Bound for Glory, maybe I should start again. Foley is enough of a reason to watch, but I'm in early on a Friday and the time difference means I'm up too late if I watch impact.

Record it. You should definitely at least have a look.
