Just like the who should be released thread.. who do you think TNA should pick up and rocket into the mainstream? Choose a list of five, just like the other thread.
1. Claudio Castagnoli. Big, good look, decent mic skills, original fresh in ring style.. he'd be a guy like Joe they could start in the X Division then transition on to bigger and better things. He could play an evil foreigner or cool babyface, he does both so well. I see him as a guy that could become a headliner for a company like TNA if booked well against the right people.
2. Bryan Danielson. See, I tried to not go for the typical list of indie God's but Danielson is just to good. If TNA let him continue his indie bookings, continue with the odd ROH show now and again, utilizing Danielson in TNA would be epic. Again, have him work the X Division angle for a while until he's ready to break out in to the main event. Can you imagine a Danielson Sting feud?
3. Larry Sweeney. Nab him before WWE does. Sweeney is so talented as a manager it leaves me slack jawed. When I see him on ROH pay per views I can't help but think of Bobby Heenan back in his heyday. Sweeney's the sort of guy you could stick with any random monster, and make that monster a star. Why more companies can't see the value in a good mouth piece is beyond me.
4. LuFisto. This chick is awesome.. screw Moose, you want a hardcore chick that can actually wrestle her ass off, here you go. If TNA brought Lu in as a bubbly anime inspired cutie pie that just so happens to lose her shit and go hardcore as fuck when the match started.. epic win gimmick. Not to mention she'd make the rest of the not so wrestling inclined Knockouts look like a million bucks.
5. MsChif and Delirious. Yeah, cop out, as a duo. These two are so cool together.. how wicked would it be to have a guy girl combo competing for the tag team straps? Take about setting yourself apart from WWE. It'd work because both can bump like nobodies business.. can you just see Hernandez Border Tossing MsChif across the ring? So epic..
So yeah, that's my list.

imo tna should of kept raven.
raven has a great mind. could do wonders with working with creative team. can still work a good match. can tell a good story in the ring opposed this so called four/five star match which didn't tell a story. still has alot of offer. in my opinion was one of key people who helped tna survie it's first years. plus is one hell of a commonater. look at his work as scotty the body and when he was acouncing sunday night heat.
that would be about it because tna already has a good and big enough roster as it is.

They shouldn't pick up anyone right now. With relevance to the current feud, it's very much about the guys who are already in TNA. The feud is the focus of the show, and takes up a lot of it, so I don't think they really are going tp worry about debuting someone.
With that said, if there's anyone I want to see in TNA (again) it's The Amazing Red. He is awesome, through and through.
Raven should go back to TNA as a booker, but not as a wrestler. He's too old, fat and immobile now.

TNA needs to trim the fat and reevaluate where they see themselves going, talent wise, in the future. If they want to be more sports entertainment than pure wrestling action, fine.. but you can be sports entertainment without being WWE's waste basket. Larry Sweeney, Jimmy Jacobs and Delirious are three perfect examples of character based guys, in Jacobs and Sweeney's cases a couple of guys who can cut a mean promo that would fit perfectly into the way TNA runs their shows. Instead of waiting for WWE to pitch someone to the roadside, TNA should look for guys that can work their style that they can brand as homegrown.

I agree that Raven would be great as a booker, but also I believe he should have been given one last big feud rather than just let go. It's not like he was terrible in the ring. He could still produce decent gimmick matches anyway.
As for indy talent, I wouldn't really have confidence in TNA using them to the best of their abilities. I meank, look at Jimmy Rave in ROH compared to Rave now in TNA. Stuck in a shitty tag team with Lance Rock. >_>
I would like to see guys like Danielson and McGuinness in the mainstream, but I feel they would be more suited for the less gimmick ridden WWE.
Claudio Castagnoli would probably be my number one pick. I could see him working in TNA if used right. I'm gonna be generic and say Chris Hero too.
But I'm with Steve, they should concentrate on using the talent they have first. They have a huge roster anyway and waste a lot of guys. I already mentioned Rave. Push him.
