This really wasn't a big shock to me, but we finally saw the name of the faction consisting of Kurt Angle, Kevin Nash, Booker T, and Sting. What surprised me is the heel turn from Sting, but the rest was pretty expected. What are your thoughts on this new alliance?
I like it a lot, surprisingly. When Sting walked in the room lookin' fly as ever, I, for the first time in a long time, was excited to be watching TNA. I love the whole basis of the group, the name, and the members...Its about time TNA turned Kevin Nash heel, he's a natural. Booker T was on point, the accent is laughable I guess.
I especially like the way TNA has blurred the roles of "heels" and "faces" pairing a guy who will obviously be cheered, in Sting, with obvious heels in Nash, Book, and Angle. Same with AJ, he's loved by the fans, Joe...not so much. Its like they're leaving it up to the fans to decide who they love and hate. There's no clear cut "bad guy". For once, TNA is doing something line-crossing worthy lol...
edit: iMPACT was pretty average by the way. Foley lived up to the hype (in my opinion) but for it to be such a HUGE show, it should have been a lot better.

I love the idea of the Main Event Mafia and they really made them look great on the show. Though Rell, Samoa Joe is pretty damn over to be honest. In some cases he gets Cena-like reactions but meh.

Yeah, the only reason he doesn't seem so over is because you put him in the ring with Sting. It's the same reason Cena is booed when he's paired with Triple H or John Cena. Obviously they are going to cheer the icon over the new guy, even if both are faces. Anyways, I do indeed love this stable, as I indicated last night. This is a big name stable so it kind of feels special, to me. hopefully, while giving us some good stories, it will also limit their TV time giving more TV time for others.

I never knew Cena went up against himself. :P haha. Other then that.... I lov3 th3 fact10n. lol but in all seriousness... the faction is gonna push over TNA a hell of a lot more now. I'm kind of looking forward to it. This impact was the most entertaining impact I've seen in a LONG time.

CGS RECORD (2-0-0)
I WOULD HAVE BEEN 3-0-0 BUT CGS WENT UNDER.
It does have a special feel to it, and for the record, I wasn't saying Joe isn't over lol, I'm just saying he's not clear cut face/heel, and neither is Sting. I like the idea of not being spoon fed who to cheer and boo.

I was never too big on stables that consist of only Main event players. I guess with the name it would be a bad idea to put in guys who aren't so over, but who are these guys elevating reallY? Evo made stars out of two unknowns (at the time) Tista and Orton. DX made the Outlaws well known and Hogan brought out another side of Hall and Nash... Even Edge gave Ryder and Hawkins a name(imo). Who are these guys pushing? Will they job them selves out to put over the younger talent?.... who btw needs the exposure more, I think not. Anyway who's the leader? I'm guessing its the champion Sting?
Main Event Mafia haha the name is kick ass tho, I must say.
