While I'm waiting to watch the PPV, I am bored to tears. TNA have been improving with video packages, however they are hardly interesting enough to allow 30 minutes of entertainment. Does anybody else miss/think TNA should start using the pre-show matches they once had? I mean even if it's jobber a vs. jobber b, at least it's something better than repetitive video packages.
Plus if it's good enough, it could push someone to buy the event who normally might now. Like suppose Petey Williams and Creed weren't on the PPV, but were one on one on the preshow and put on a good match, someone new to TNA might think "Wow that was good, if this is only the preshow how good will the PPV be?" and purchase it.
Plus it's just more entertaining.
Does anyone else miss it and feel they should bring it back?

Yeah I agree with you. It is always better to see a match on the pre show rather than watching repetitive vids hyping the PPV, but I guess TNA think it makes the whole thing seem 'bigger' if they do it that way. Not sure really. Seems dumb, but this is the least of TNA's worries.

Yeah. But even though I made this in TNA I feel as if WWE should do it too.
But either way, TNA doesn't have as good production as WWE thus need the match even more than the WWE would. Plus they always want people on the PPV and it ends up being a cluster fuck, why not have a pre-show clusterfuck like battle royal or something? It gets more people around for the live crowds, gets people into the show early on, and if you add it to the DVDs that's bonus material.

They don't have matches anymore on the pre-show? That's lame. At times, the matches (Yes...more than one) were better than some of the PPV matches. I'm not sure why they're not showing matches anymore, they're still doing them before the show.

I agree, but like you said, TNA just try to shove everyone on the actual card in clusterfuck matches like the Steel Asylum. This is just one example of how they waste the talented roster they have.
I am surprised WWE don't televise them. I see no reason why not.
