TNA Going In HD, Changing Impact Zone Set, Running Live Impact In Las Vegas
Source: Prowrestling.NET

TNA is set to air a live episode of Impact at The Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino on Thursday, October 23 in Las Vegas. The show will also be the first episode of Impact to be broadcast in HD. Spike TV launched a High Definition channel a few months ago, but its availability is limited.

TNA's switch to HD will be permanent. TNA is changing their set in the Impact Zone for the switch to HD. They will likely do away with one of the two entrances the wrestlers use, not to mention make the new set more visually appealing in HD.

Been waiting for them to get rid of an entrance for a while, hopefully its the face entrance as thats the most cheesy IMO.

Two entrances was just another random thing TNA tried to do to seem like they were different. It isn't practical in the slightest.

I dont think they can do something huge like WWE's background of LED lights or whatever it is, it's huge. I dont even think the iMPACT! zone is fit for that but hey another big step for TNA if they get a new set I suppose

They look too much like Raw, as far as colors go. I'd love for them to change their colors to blue, as well, blue is obviously a darker color than Red and i think TNA needs to be looking for darker colors to not seem so happy and cheesey. Getting rid of the double entrances will be very good, but I hope they keep the six sided ring.

Well it seems to me that they're still trying to compete hardcore w/ WWE. Even though WWE is, imo, killing them in ratings.... At least for the most part. I don't know. I don't watch too much TNA so I guess I really don't care about all of this.

hell, if something isn't in High Quality on Youtube..I think less of it for some reason.
