Just in the same that Christopher Daniels was a major player in the early innings of TNA, so was Monty Brown. Monty Brown was going over guys like Cage when he left and had already gone over people like Rhino and Jarret. To me, if it wasn't for Cage coming to TNA, he would have been World Champion like promised. The guy is major popular and easy to get behind, and kind of reminds me of The Rock. Where do you think he would be if he would have stuck it through with TNA? The only thing that gets me is his age.

Probably where Rhino is, but on the heel side of things. I know Brown was promised a push before Cage came it, but then he lost that push to Cage. Where would have have got the push in with Angle, and Booker T coming in shorty after? Not to mention the return of Sting and Jeff Jarrett, and the push of Styles, Joe and the development Knockouts division. Brown might have been released from the company to be honest.
I don't think Monty would be doing that much. There is just too much going on in the company, and there are too many stars to really push everyone. TNA did drop the ball with Brown though. He could've easily went over Double J when he faced him for the title, but Jarrett won, and continued to reign as champ. After that, Brown kind of just faded back into the bottom of the card.

Yeah I feel he would have been partially misused. Like with Christian and the push incident, I think it would have happened a few more times and he may have quit altogether.
Honestly I could not see him remaining in TNA to this day.

If he were to come back to TNA, he wouldn't be used properly that's for sure. I do know that had he not left TNA, he would have become NWA Champion. He was very close to winning it and I'm pretty sure he was going to end up winning it one time had he not left. Which would have been pretty cool I think. Always been a fan of Monty Brown. Like somebody else said, there's to much other stuff going on in the company right now and he just wouldn't be used properly.

I think he would of defiantly got the title as a face..had Christian not of came in. As for currently...I don't know the product has changed so much during that time. I would imagine he be alot more know then he was back then.
As far as WWE
I really wish that Vince would of just gave Brown the push that Lashley was getting. I think if pushed the right way..they could of made him into a star. No doubt about it.
Marcus Cor Von > Bobby Lashley

I guess I'm the only one who remembered what happened in 2005. The guy's World Title dreams came to a crashing end at Destination X in March. From there, he was a heel lackey of Jarrett. While Monty was pushed back down the card, Rhino came in and instantly won the World Title. Monty was only given another title shot against Cage because Christian needed a quick and easy victory to get his title reign going.
Monty was fucked over long before Christian came into the company. So if Monty would come back now with the likes of Angle, Booker and others now in the company, Brown wouldn't even have a chance of being a main eventer. Monty was fucked over in early 2005, he never recovered from it.

I dont see how being Jarrett's "lacky" fucked over Browns career. He was working with someone who at the time was pretty much the face of the company. Its not like he was a main eventer before he joined up with Jarrett. Brown was a mid carder before Jarrett and he was a mid carder after Jarrett.

He was a main eventer before teaming up with Jarrett. Hell, the fans wanted him to be World Champion above all others. As soon as he joined up with Jarrett, he was pushed back down the card to fight the likes of BG James and the rest of 3LK. While Jarrett had legit hate from some fans, Brown was quickly becoming the most over star in late 2004/early 2005. Turning into Jarret's lackey kept him from ever being a serious challenger again.
