Which Motor City Machine Gun will win the World Title first

There was this discussion on another forum and i thought it was really intresting so why not bring it here!

Anyway here are my thoughts?

I dont know if both are world champion material.

Im a big fan of both men but the both have there positives and there flaws which will either help them with a run for the title or bring them down.

Alex shelley is a brilliant athelete. I do not think he is as good in the ring as chris sabin though. Shelley is more like the moonsaulter while sabin hits the pheonix splash's if you know what i mean. Shelley though In ym opinion is very underated on the microphone. His in rign and out ring promos are great wheather he is face or heel and knows how to get a crowd reaction. For example his promos with when Motor city machine guns were fueding with Team 3-D were great. They were funny but at the same time he made valid points. His in ring ability and mic ability will take him far in the buissness but the problem is that he isnt the biggest guy in the buissness. He is quite small and by looking at the past reputation of wrestling he wont get the world title. But then again we have seen kaz get a few shots at the gold.

Now onto Chris Sabin

Sabin is and always will be my favourite of the two. He has the look and the in ring ability to carry a title but a world title im not so sure. His out ring ability wheather its segments or promos is nto that great. He is no rock thats for sure but then again he isnt that bad either. Sabin is one of the most talented guys in TNA and has proven that with hsi amtches against samoa Joe, Low Ki and AJ Styles but when it boils down to it a champ is someone who brings fans and sure sabin does that but now like Christian cage or samoa Joe. Also the same with Shelley he isnt the biggest guy and that does not work in his favor at all at holding the world heavyweight championship. Sabin is a great athelte and can really be innovative i just dont think that the Main event is for him

Motor City Machine guns In my opinion need to stay together as a team. They are TNA's version of Londrick and there really getting younger fans into TNA and there bringing great wrestling to the tag division. They have proven that they can hold the tag team championship when they have had great fueds with Past legend tag teams and in a matter of time i think we will see the belts on those two individuals.

So no i dont think any will ever get the world heavyweight championship due to there size but i dotn think they should either. There perfect were they are and there still great to watch.

But if i was too say who was to win then id say Chris Sabin also. He is more talented in the ring prepared to Shelley and he has had more history with championships prepared to Shelley which would work in his favor
.

How about You?

In TNA, it would obviously be Sabin. Even though neither one has a chance in the near future. Shelley is my fav of the two, and alot of peoples, but he's been with TNA so long, and has gotten nothing. I really don't doubt the reports on his attitude.

I like Shelley a lot, but like Dman, I'd give the nod to Sabin. Before the two brought their team to TNA, Sabin was definitely higher on the TNA food chain than Shelley. I doubt either men would make it the World Title, but I think TNA would definitely would put it on Sabin rather than Shelley.

Im going to go with option C and say that neither will ever win the Championship. They are fan favs, but I dont see TNA being able to market them in a ppv main event match against a Samoa Joe, Booker T, or whoever else jumps ship to TNA in the future. Especially trying to market them as a champion.

They are X Division wrestlers for life. Neither are at the stage to be World Champ, and nor will they ever be. They just aren't those type of wrestlers.

I find Shelley a much better wrestler for anyone that cares. He's top 5 in the world to me, whereas Sabin may just make top 15.

I'm amazed people are saying Sabin, Shelley is clealry the superior of the team in every way. Sabin just seems to be Shelley's second in command. That said, neither really are world title yet. I doubt I will ever see Sabin as a main eventer, and Shelley seriously needs years of building up to even be in the equation. I forgot how big/small Shelley is, he may need to bulk up too.

Great X-division wrestlers, but neither are world title material.

Yeah I don't see either as future World Champions but not everyone has to be. They do a great job as a team and are great singles wrestlers in the X Division. That is good enough. There are a few problems with them concerning the World Title. The main one being that TNA signs a lot of well known talent who will always be ahead of these guys in the pecking order, but also I just don't believe they are the sort of guys you would build a company around.

The unwillingness to blade could cause problems for main eventers too. Blood adds so much drama to certain matches.

I think Shelley is better than Sabin, but the fact that Shelley is pickier and seems to be less lenient about ideas and storylines I would have to say Sabin. I mean, Shelley was never even pushed to get a X Division championship, at the very least Sabin held it several times. It seems that it's easier to market Sabin over Shelley for TNA.

Supposedly, one report said, that Shelley was the one who said they wouldn't blade and Sabin being like a brother to Shelley backed him up on the decision although he would have done it.

I would agree that Shelley is better than Sabin. He has more charisma and seems like the one who would make it as a main eventer if any of them do.

Yeah I thought it was Shelley who said it.

Did you not read?

He's obviously the better, but he can't even get an x-division push.
