Is it me or is Abyss's new gimmick better than his Monster gimmick? The monster gimmick was getting old and boring and needed a change and now his watch-over-to-see-if-any-trouble-is-going-on Gimmick is quite good and last night he and Matt Morgan were left alone in the ring and it made me think, Matt Morgan and Abyss? What a tag team and what a dominant pair. What do you guys think?
His gimmick now sucks. Going from Monster to Guardian Angel makes no sense at all, especially when you consider the vignetees in the lead up to his return. He was meant to be a sadistic monster. TNA cheaped out, and tried to swerve us for the sake of it imo. It just seems like a TNA thing to do.
And it is clear that they are hinting at an alliance between both men. Anyone can see that. It will end with one turning on the other no doubt in a few months, creating a feud.

Abyss was in the loony bin (for lack of a better term) and was subliminally and verbally taught the error in his ways, some worked, some didn't and he wasn't sure what did work until he picked up a weapon and couldn't use it.

It isn't a bad idea. The main problem with Abyss before he disappeared was overexposure, particularly in hardcore environments. He didn't seem special, and nothing he did seemed special, because he was blading and taking bumps seemingly every week. The best thing they could do with him when he returned was to avoid hardcore stuff and showcase him more sparingly, which they have done. I am sure that this will eventually lead somewhere, most likely to a return of the Abyss we are more used to. While it lasts, it is quite a good idea.
The Morgan thing doesn't interest me much though.

God I have no interest in this at all. Everyone pretty knows how I feel about Matt Morgan, an over rated seven footer with a bicycle kick. As for Abyss, I cant understand his sudden Superman change. For someone who wouldnt shut up in the padded room, he sure is silent. It sounded like he was going to come back more sadistic than ever, but now he has gone to some sort of saviour. Its just all confusing. I can understand that TNA wants to take him away from the hardcore stuff, but fuck Abyss is so lame he might as well join EY's stable. Hopefully he turns on Morgan and James Michell get rehired.

That explains how he is the saviour of the iMPACT! Zone how?
Seriously. Your statement has flaws in it. He said he still had the lust for blood. He had it more than ever. Yet he won't use weapons? TNA just swerved us for the sake of it, which they do frequently. They don't care if their swerve has logic.
