I'm not sure how many tournaments TNA has had to determine challengers for the TNA Championship, but off the top of my head I can remember at least three this year alone. TNA has now created another tournament for their upcoming pay per view, No Surrender. The first match will be this Thursday and it will see Booker T or should I say King Booker lite vs Rhino. Of course we all know that Booker is going to win, but did TNA really need to add, what I am guessing is three other men to the rivalry between Joe and Booker? With all the build up between Sting and Jarrett and their role in the rivalry, could you have lived with a simple rematch?
umm hella yea. I've bee nsaying it for a whle now, TNA needs to stop doing those, and they need to stop doing the- everyone not in a match in this one, whoever wins gets title shot-.
They need to make credible opponents.
But for this PPV, I don't mind, cuz its just a BFG filler.
I love tournaments but that's when they're used sparingly. When you over use them they lose the value. So yes, I do think it's getting old. A rematch could have worked though i'm not sure if it would have drew ratings, but eh. We'll see how it works out. I see Nash, Booker, and Sting joining Joe.
