Dont get me wrong, he is very quick and has a ton of agility for his size, but so far he has done nothing but win in squash matches and already Mike Tenay along with Don West are verbally pushing him towards main eventing pay per views. I have yet to see anything that seperates Morgan from every other big man in main stream wrestling except for a bicycle kick. His promos are less than interesting, but I managed to pay attention for a full promo and even Morgan himself was talking about headlining pay per views in the future. In all honestly I cant see myself ever paying money to see Matt Morgan as the main attraction at a wrestling event. I find his promos dull, his matches average at best and I truely think he is overrated.
Morgan has always been overated though, even back in his wwe stint. He is very charismatic (I actually like his promos) and he has improved since his stint in Japan, but in the ring he is a generic big man down to a tee, and always has been.

It's simple. He has strength, speed, agility and the superstar look. He may look like a poor man's Brock Lesnar, but he is still devoloping. TNA are simply aiding that with these matches. He is beiing groomed for that big spot. I don't think you can call some overrated when they are devoloping.

Why cant I call him overrated? He is pretty much and average big man getting a kick in the ass towards main eventing for the company. Im not saying fans overrate him, Im saying TNA is overrating his ability to sell a headliner for a pay per view.
Are they promoting him that he will sell as a headliner for a Pay Per View? I don't think so. If so, show me where.
They are grooming him and helping him devolop. Read my above post. He is not a main eventer, you can't overrate a guy who you are merely devoloping because you don't know how he will turn out wrestling wise. That's what TNA are finding out. They are seeing how the fans will react to him. And so far, all indications are good. The fans love him.
How you say he is an average big man is beyond me. Tell me, did Kevin Nash ever have the speed, or the agility of Morgan? No. Nash is your average big man. Morgan also has a superstar look. he is big, muscular (not fat like some big men), and has some good charisma.
Try again if you must.

Just look at his promo last night, he was talking about seeing his name headlining TNA pay per views. Jim Cornett said last week that Matt Morgan had to potential to be a main eventer. On Rough Cuts everyone the made a statement about Morgan talked about him being in the main event. If you want proof, go youtube it yourself. Yes Kevin Nash is a basic bigman, besides a side suplex, a big boot, and elbow, a clothesline and his powebomb, Nash doesnt have much more moves in his arsenal. Besides a bicycle kick Morgan has no move that makes him stand out from any other big man. Morgan doesnt have a "Superstar look" in my opinion. So what he is tall and has muscle, Nathan Jones was tall and strong, look how his career turned out. Morgan is just a 7 foot man who hits the gym and wrestles in pretty much generic tights. His entrance is generic, his music is generic, his wrestling moves are generic for the most part and his promos, to me at least are uninteresting.
I haven't seen this week's iMPACT! (iMPACT! is on tonight), but they are saying that he has the POTENTIAL to be a main eventer, clearly based on your statements. If he has the potential to do it in the future, then of course he is DEVELOPING. Notice the pattern?
You make it seem like Morgan saying he is a future main eventer is a big dea. Because so many wrestlers go out and say, "I'm not good enough to be a main eventer, and I never will be. The highest I will get is midcard!" Wrestlers hype themselves up in promos. If you haven't noticed this yet then you obviously are slow.
He doesn't have a superstar look. He is big, tanned, has a defined body, some badass tights and has charisma. So that's not a superstar look? my bad. I guess I will look for the small, skinny, pale guy with boring tights. He must have the superstar look, right? What a mistake WWE made releasing Colin Delaney then.
Nash doesn't have moves that stand out? You named his bicycle big boot, but have you actually seen his finisher? Sorry, the Hellavator isn't a move I see everywhere. Clearly I am blind.

No, Kevin Nash was just plain bad, Morgan is dead average. I don't know how low your standards are, but I would say in the ring Morgan does the bare minimum I would expect some one of his size to do. There are by far many big men around who put him to shame.

Agreed.

OK. Let's look at the big men in the business. Abyss, Undertaker, Kane, Big Show, Khali. Do any have the speed, or agility of Morgan? No. Did I ever talk about his in ring skills, besides saying they are devoloping? No. If you are going to make a counter point, at least make it relate to what I said properly, or don't bother at all.
