I'll start off by saying that if rumors are true, and LAX has a break up planned in the future, then that would be a horrible mistake. First of all, the Tag Division needs them. They have the new teams of Beer Money and Rhyno/Cage, and then they have The Motor City Machine Guns. But after that, who else do they have? They have a team that thinks they are epic Guitar Hero players, and maybe a team of Super Heroes in the future. Losing LAX would totally bring down the whole division.
So if they do break up, where does the lead Homicide and Hernandez? The X Division is nearly dead, and nobody is really seeing anything great that is in the division. He could maybe feud with Petey for awhile, but it obviously won't go anywhere. Then we Hernandez. He is a great big man wrestler. Rumors said the main reason for the break up, was so TNA could push him as a singles wrestler. I think that is great, but it won't last. He could receive a push towards the main event, and find himself in a feud with a big name lower main eventer. But after that feud, he will get lost in the mix, just like Tomko did.
Thoughts?

Hernandez doesn't seem to have the microphone skills to get really pushed that high and stay. I mean, I could see them pushing him to that extent but it wouldn't last because he really wouldn't have much of a personality. Just a big latino guy. I mean, that's his personality in LAX. Homicide is pretty much all the personality of LAX, unless you count whatever manager they have that week. This could only hurt LAX, LAX needs to stay together as a team. They're like the next Team 3D. Homicide is simply too small and too much of a brawler type wrestler that he wouldn't be pushed in the X Division. It doesn't work out for anyone in the long run, maybe the short run, but LAX could last for a long time if it's booked right.

I think they should push them both as a successful tag team and legitimate single wrestlers. Just because their a great tag team doesn't mean every match they have should be for the tag team division. It's moreso Cage/Rhino, both are a great team and have been sucessful as singles.
Homicide can bring a spark to the X-Division and I can see a good feud with Petey Williams in maybe a battle of the nations, and can bring a whole new brawling style to the division as opposed to the generic spotty style. Hernandez could do well being a 'big man' and can feud with top end guys like Matt Morgan, Tomko or to get him up the next level, a feud with Rhino, like he's done with Styles and Storm.
I actually see Hernandez getting much more hurt than benefited if they break up. He may get a push at first, but it probably won't last. Look how many top guys/big pushes TNA are doing. Can anybody see Hernandez getting a big push over certain guys? I can't. And there isn't a mid-card title for him to grab onto. Just like with Roode and Storm, I think he'd be lost in the shuffle under different circumstances.
