Robert Roode and James Storm are two of my favorites in TNA, and I love the pairing between the two. Even though Roode could never replace Harris, I love the pairing between these two. Hopefully TNA keeps them as a team for awhile and they can win Tag Gold in the future. Both are great heels and are talented on the mic and in the ring.

I hate the pairing. Not because I don't think they work well as a team. But because I think they deserve more, they deserve a decent push. Both should get involved in singles feuds. Both have the potential to really feud with anyone.
I could see James Storm feuding with someone like Matt Morgan. Storm could really help Morgan get used to being on the mic, and it would also help Matt not only in the ring, but be a part of something other than a squash. It would help him be a part of an actual feud.
Robert Roode I would feud with Christian Cage/Rhino until Rhino turns on Cage, setting up the match for Cage and Rhino at BFG.

Like said above, these two should be in singles competition. Roode has the look, the wrestling skills and the mic skills to do anything he wants in a place like TNA or WWE. Storm is well over by the TNA crowd and is funny. He can be making people just by feuding with them imo. I dunno, I think the Tag titles are pakced enough and these two should be looking at the World Title.

The reason I love the pairing (besides the obvious) is because TNA doesn't have a mid-card title. All they could do is float around the mid-card division in random feuds. At least as a tag team, they COULD hold gold and are prominently showcased.

They are essentially taking a step backwards. They have both been tag wrestlers in the past. I would much rather see them have some feuds in the midcard than see them go back to where they have already been.

I don't consider it a step backwards yet. Not until they become bigger names at least. With Christian, AJ, Joe, Booker, Angle, etc. on the brand, I don't see either man being a main event feature for a long time. THis would prevent them from becoming stale.

That's where our opinions obviously differ. I respect yours, but I still have to look as it as a step backwards for two guys that moved on from being tag guys. James Storm is in danger of looking like a tag guy forever if he keeps getting teamed up imo.

I kind of agree. I'd prefer them be top guys, specifically Storm, but I just prefer this than how they were being booked for the better part of their past few years (aside from Storms with Rhino/Harris and Roode with Booker)
