Well I was thinking after watching this last iMPACT!. The show was great. They put on the show that we have all been wanting forever. Their last two shows have been just as great. Samoa Joe is the chmapion, along with LAX and Petey Williams. Angle drama is down to a mimimum. The wrestling is at a majority and has on average more than Raw and Smackdown's. Reports say they want to build their own talent. VKM hasn't been on the show in a while, which is always a plus. We have all been begging for this.
But even with all this, the dicussion is dead. No one cares. The rating will be .9 or 1.0. The thing I point my finger to is the WWE's huge success in interest in the draft. So it leads me to believe that TNA should shake things up.
By no means am I talking about starting a draft. No. What I AM talking about, however, is changing around a few roles. The commentating booth would be fun to changed around. All bashes on West/Tenay asside, I think putting someone else fromthe roster there would freshen things up. Hell, what about Cornett in the booth, Borash in charge and Don West doing interviews? I think something else that needs to change is a major Heel or Face turn. I know we see them all the time, but they are all so quiet and with people who switch roles all the time that no one cares. Booker T for example just turned Heel one night. It wasn't big, it was just "I'm Booker T and I've got a new attitude".
Think about Sting turning Heel? Angle could turn Face quietly at the end of his feud with style and Sting to take his Heel spot bashes Joe with the bat one night. That would be huge.
How about a real faction? We have had the Angle Alliance, Roode Incorporated and the Christian Coalition but they were shot lived tiny self named factions. I'd consider bringing in Team Mexico or Juvendud/Psicosis to replace the Tag Team part of the team, move Homicide to the X-Division and move Hernandez to the Heavyweight Division after teaching him the stick.
Bring back someone like Monty Brown. I seriously think this would be bigger than Booker T coming in, or anyone like Lashley or RVD coming in to TNA. TNA die hards and old fans if they are anything like me, miss onty Brown. it would be great to see him back.
I don't know, throw in a new title? Like I said above, all bashing on their booking aside, it would just be cool to see, as well as refreshing.
TNA to me just needs to shake things up. Change their foundation it a bit. Make it new and exciting. Thoughts?
