Last night, since I had nothing else better to do or watch(I did not know that NBC still ran Office re runs) so I turned onto T.N.A. and I must say, I was actually enjoyed by the product. They, had a good continuation of storylines with AJ/Kurt/Karen from not even following it, and Lethal and Dutt are now officially feuding which is good to see.
But, the main thing that had me hooked was the X Cup. I personally, was very entertained by Motor City Machine Guns against Daivari and Dux. It was fast paced, stiff, and when they cut away to AJ attacking Tomko I was pissed.
The other match which I found great was, was Kozlov(Who needs to be signed after the X Cup) versus Kaz. These two matches are what I want to see from the product, as it reminds me of when the X Division was the main image of T.N.A.
So yeah, also Speedmuscle on T.V. last week was fucking epic.

It's great seeing these matches that put TNA on the map in the first place. The X Cup will be used once a year so it definetly won't be permanent. But what if, they could bring back the X Division to where it was. That would be just as good imo. Hopefully the current success of these matches, has TNA management thinking.

Hopefully. They bring out such energy in the crowd, for example MCMG vs Speedmuscle - That crowd for that match was just absolutely bonkers, and the same could said against Dux and Dairivi. Also, it helps those who don't know of the other wrestlers become more known. Like, I know of most of if not all of the guys in the X Cup and it's a absolute joy to see them on my television now.

But having the X Cup only once a year makes it more entertaining because you don't see it all the time. It is good that it is something different, and you get to see guys from other promotions wrestling in TNA. If the X Cup was permanent it would take away the novelty of it.
On a side note, I believe WWE could learn from this. As Steve said, it is kinda dumb that WWE insist that everyone signs exclusive contracts.
