The X Division has been dying down for awhile now, and that was one of the best parts of the show. World X Cup is back now, and this has always showcased the X Division stars and other wrestlers around the world. The MCMG match last week was awesome and definetly the highlight of the show. The crowd loved it and I bet most fans did too.
Can you see the World X Cup bringing back the X Division to where it was?

I think the X Division had been getting better anyway. Sure, I wasn't in to ideas such as the Terrordome. I don't think random over the top gimmicks such as that are a good way to rekindle interest in the division, but I actually enjoyed Lethal's title reign and felt that it produced some very entertaining matches. Since then, Petey has interested me with his new gimmick, and I feel Kaz adds a lot to the division whenever he competes in it. They are doing a good job with him at the moment, having him compete in both X Division and main event matches, which makes the belt look more prestigious.
Sure, the X Division hasn't been as prominent or as unique as it was in 2005, but I don't think we will be seeing a division like that anytime soon with or without the World X Cup. Times have changed, and while the World X Cup could create more interest in the division and remind TNA of what fans would like to see some more of, I don't think it will have a huge effect. The X Division has in my opinion experienced something of a renaissance anyway.
