X Division being more than just a division full of past wrestler ripoffs.
Realistic booking.
A focus on the wrestling aspect of the show instead of trying to tap into what is popular in the world to sell the product( Sports stars, MMA style matches, Entertainment stars)
A mid card title
I've started to get back into again, mostly because of the X-Cup, but I am starting to enjoy it more. I've only watched the last two impacts and the things that strike me as needing to change are:
-Less segment, and segments given more time. They cram like 4 promos and a match into each 15 minutes, it's so rushed.
-Less Angle family soap opera, I got sick of it with the McMahons dominating the show and I'm sick of half the show being about Karen Angle.
-Less Kevin Nash. The guy is a good mic worker but the fuck he is still used to the extent of which he is is beyond me.
-Eric Young. I was a fan of the guy for a long while, but now he is nothing more than the most irritatting waste of time on TNA. He had the potential to be a great underdog style face but he's been turned into the most retarded annoying idiot in wrestling.
-Booking, naturally.

- Joe as Champion is a hell of a lot better than Angle as Champion, even if the way he won it wasn't quite to my liking. People can't complain about TNA holding him back now.
- AJ Styles is a face again, and is getting a huge push. I always preferred AJ as a face, and it is about time he took his rightful place in the TNA main event picture once again.
- Abyss has returned. I have always been a big fan of Abyss since I first saw him. His return intrigued me and hopefully they can give him something to do besides falling on tacks this time.
- Kaz's push. I always thought he was overrated, and the way people rave about his ladder match with Cage is a reason to dislike him, but he has actually impressed me recently and I think WWE can learn a lot from the way TNA have pushed him. It is about time WWE elevated someone that way.
So what can TNA do? Continue to showcase these guys, and cut back on the gimmick matches. Go back to a more wrestling based product. It is about getting the balance right, and I feel the gimmicks reached a level where it was certainly overkill. They need to let wrestlers just go out and show what they can do without some ridiculous structure around them and weapons everywhere. Hardcore is great but not when it happens every week.

I turned TNA on the other night and I don't remember the match but the match ended and Tenay was like we are heading to the back with Borash to talk to Sonjay Dutt.
So we cut to the back and Borash is like Dutt do you have any comments on Machismo's wedidng or something like that and htis is how Dutt responds
Dutt: NO Comment.
They then cut to something else but I was like WTF, why even cut right to Dutt if he was only going to say No Comment, it's 100% pointless.

I really liked TNA in 2006, they really made wrestling feel a legitimate sport, segments and matches alike were above par, feuds were (for the most part) wrestling based (as in based on competition, and not over ridiculous stuff like rats, gimmicks, etc.), and long term booking was ftepicW with the X-Division still being a main part of the product. Better still it worked for TV. If TNA could revert to this style I'd more than just enjoy the product..
Well, it would probably just be a sequence of firings.
-Fire BG and Kip James
-Fire Team 3D
-Fire Dustin Rhodes
-Fire Scott Steiner
-Fire Lance Hoyt
-Fire Johnny Devine
-Use Sonjay Dutt, Shark Boy, Jay Lethal, Consequences Creed and Petey Williams as their own characters and not rip-offs and paradies.
-Use Christopher Daniels as Christopher Daniels and not Curry Man
-Use Eric Young right are just fire him. He's just annoying and useless right now
-Less Angle drama. It's okay when it's just a little, but God, too much it too much.
-Re-hire The Naturals and Monty Brown. They are TNA originals and should be given their chance again.
-Re establish the X-Division, starting with Kaz, Williams, Dutt, Lethal, Creed, Rave and Daniels.
-Create a middle-weight belt for Storm, Brown, Rhoode, Rhino, and Morgan.
-For God's sake, no more Frank Trigg.
-Let Don West and Jeremy Borash switch positions. Borash doing colored and West backstage interviews as well as still doing the Don West Deal of the Day.
-Bring Jeff Jarret back and give him the strap maybe one more time, have him take a young superstar under his wing, eventually retire. Acknowlage his ownership of TNA on TV.
-Let someone else be authority figure of TNA. I swear Cornette is just getting boring. he get's pissed that he has to serve his duties as an authority figure and yet he keeps his job. It's the same thing each weak. I don't care who get's to do it. Maybe Borash? Or just bring in Bischoff or Heyman. IDC, no more cornette.
