With Booker T recently aligning himself with Team 3D turning heel, and hints of AJ becoming a face I think TNA has built a new New Blood/Millionaire's Club type storyline (which I predicted earlier this year), where you have the former top WWE guys as heels, and TNA homegrown superstars as faces. Let's take a look at the main event scene:
Faces:
Samoa Joe
Christian Cage (Would say he's more of a TNA guy)
Tomko (Like CC, he'd be a TNA guy as he did very little in TNA)
AJ Styles
LAX
Heel:
Booker T
Kurt Angle
Kevin Nash (most likely to happen)
Team 3D
There are some interesting feuds (WWE vs. TNA) that can brew out of this, and hopefully TNA books things better than the half ass attempt that was in WCW, and makes the TNA guys look strong.
Just thought this would be interesting to note. Thoughts?
Wait, Tomko is a face? Last time I saw him he was destroying AJ Styles with Booker and Team 3D.
And what do you mean Christian is 'more of a TNA guy' lol. He made his name in WWE just like the others.
Having said that, it does look like AJ Styles and Samoa Joe, two cornerstones of the company (particularly AJ as he has been drawing for the company since the very beginning) are finally getting their due over the guys who made their names elsewhere, such as Angle, Sting, Nash, Steiner, Booker, Cage.
I don't see it as any sort of TNA v WWE feud, or even New Blood v Veterans, just natural progression. The stars are necessary to draw for the company and get people interested, but it is about time AJ and Joe were the faces of TNA once again. It is good to see AJ getting another big push.

Considering Christian never reached the level of superstar status that he has had with TNA with WWE, I can see how someone could see him as a TNA guy. I don't even think Tomko said a work while with the WWE to be honest, but yeah, he is a heel.

Christian was still a major player in WWE before he left though, and undoubtedly made his name in WWE. He is not a big name because of what he has done in TNA, he is big name because of Edge and Christian and the rest of his WWE run, a run which surely would have seen him handed a World Title had he stuck around. Joe and AJ are TNA guys because they are most famous for their work in TNA.

Not saying he is more famous for the work he has done in TNA, however..... In the WWE he was known for his goofy antics like the pose downs, a jar of ass cream and Captain Charisma stealing Trish from Y2J. In TNA he has held the NWA title, he has headlined pay per views, he has evolved his character, lead a couple of stables, shown himself to be a calculating master mind. He has accomplished a lot more in his short time with TNA than he did in his whole WWE career.

That is true, but he is still seen predominantly as an ex-WWE guy rather than a TNA superstar. Certainly hot homegrown is he.

Booker T is seen as a WWE guy even though he accomplished more in WCW and made a name for himself in that company. My point, people are fickle.
Well WWE is a bigger company than WCW, and is still around now WCW is dead, so people would obviously associate him with that. TNA is tiny compared to WWE so Cage is still most famous for his WWE work. In this context I count Booker T as one of the guys who made his name elsewhere, which counts his WCW and WWE work.
