KING OF THE MOUNTAIN MATCH
For The TNA World Heavyweight Championship
Samoa Joe vs. Robert Roode vs. Booker T vs. Christian Cage vs. Rhino
Special Enforcer: Kevin Nash
Cornette picked four wrestlers (Roode, Storm, Morgan, Tomko) and then Samoa Joe will pick four wrestlers. There will be four qualifying matches and the winners will go on to the king of the mountain match.

I have criticised King of the Mountain for being a bad concept, but although I find some flaws in it (overly complicated, doesn't make sense that the wrestlers would go willingly into the cage etc) I must say that the most important thing is that the matches are entertaining. For King of the Mountain, that box is certainly ticked.
King of the Mountain is one of the most exciting TNA matches of the year in my opinion. Last year's was perhaps the most entertaining TNA match for the whole of 2007.
I expect this one to be very good too.

Great to see Joe retaining, but I felt the match was disappointing and certainly worse than every other KOTM match. I guess this wasn't surprising considering the people involved, but I still think it should have been a bit better than it was.

I like the concept of the match, but the match was beyond cheesy this year. The best part of the match came before the match when Booker held up his pinkie. All hail, King Booka!
