I read somewhere that Abyss is a part of TNA's creative team, but his profile has been off of TNA for over a month, Judas Mesias is gone back to Mexico, and James Mitchell is inactive. Since Abyss took his mask of and went backstage, no one has heard anything more on him.
Is he done with wrestling, is the creative team looking for a way to bring him back, what's going on?
I imagine he will make a big return at some point. I heard all sorts of shitty ideas rumoured, the main one being that he will return without the mask, thus killing his character and rendering him rather pointless.
TNA couldn't be dumb enough to do that... could they?

I heard that rumor too, but. the people who forced Abyss out of the company and out of his mask havent been since. It could be rather odd to just have him randomly make the save for someone or attack someone. Tis rather pointless...
Well, as you alluded too, it is TNA. It is impossible to tell what is going on and what will happen. I kind of like this to an extent, because it makes the show unpredictable. However, when stuff makes no sense and seems so thrown together, it just sucks, unpredictable or not.

But seriously, does a bear shit in the woods? Of course TNA COULD be that stupid. I just hope they aren't.
Unfortunately I'm not sure what's left for Abyss. He is TNA's resident spot monkey and I doubt he'll ever go to WWE and he has been NWA champion (probably his last World title run). I honestly can't see much more coming from him.

Abyss needs to come back within the next couple of months. He adds something to TNA that no other wrestler does. TNA needs him for certain feuds and to have different types of styles on their roster. He should've never been allowed to speak in the first place, and that is where everything went downhill. You can still add/change little things to his character besides letting him talk and taking off his mask .

Ken just reminded me how horribly he was being booked. It got to the point where most of his matches were hardcore spotfests with no psychology. Just Abyss v some random guys like Goldust (lol) and Rellik.
If they are going to book him like that, I hope he stays away, because whoring out hardcore stiupulations to that extent harms not only the career of Abyss, but the product as a whole. TNA just feels so cheap when they do that stuff.

He's gonna end up like Kane tbh...they just need to bring him back in like 5 months, and with the mask, but say nothing about him takin it off before.
Or...
Have him come back, and since he talks...have him just be like the monster inside was dying, and slowly have him act normal, without fully removing his mask. Then have him resnap into Abyss...
They need some sort of big angle to rekindle interest in his character, because he got so stale it was unbelievable, pretty much exclusively due to bad booking. They should do something similar to WWE's Kane angle when he went insane and left a path of destruction through the company, only without the mask removal as Dman said.

You mean the angle where fake Kane attacked real Kane which was supposed to end up like the fake Undertaker vs real Undertaker, only in an inferno match, but instead got pulled for the big retard named Festus???
