After Kevin Nash was sideline with a severe staph infection the Main Event Mafia recruited former Intercontinental Champion and Ten times WWE world tag team champion Kip James.
As you all may know Kip was previously working with the beautiful people, kind of showing his feminine side.
While the Mafia has lost one of it's World champions it does gain a wrestler with many credentials except a World Heavyweight Title.
So the question remains, is Kip James Main Event Mafia worthy? Does he fit the faction?
Do you believe he brings anything postive to the faction? Did the Mafia rushed things by adding him so soon? After all injuries are a part of sports.
whats your take on the situation?
For starters i dont think he will be permanent but more of a part time member. Secondly, who else could have filled the role? He was the best candidate considering what the MEM is about. Highly succesful, ego driven and expieranced. Besides, i think Kip did a better job than Nash would have in a match like that.

I agree with Draren, theres no way he will be a full time member of the group, TNA needed somebody at the very last minute and everybody else was already booked on the PPV.
I dont think its a bad move. Like said it prolly wont be a long term deal. Main Event doesn't have to mean world champion. Ive also always liked kip for some reason, so im excited about it.

Nah, like Crocker said, i think it was purely a 'Nash has been sidelined on the day of the PPV, we need someone NOW, this guy is the best fit.' I think he could be used as an associate to help them out, but i'd say it's very unlikely he'd be a full time member.
I hope this is just a one off kinda thing. Kip James has credentials sure, but his gimmick does not suit the MEM at all. If he wanted to start getting serious and vying for the MEM's attention he would make a logical addition, especially due to his affiliation to D-X, which as we all know was (and still is, sort of) a fantastic faction. Kip can work in a team and if he was to serious himself up it might work. Then again, if TNA keep him as is, or just change his attitude immediately and have him as a fulltime member it could seal the lid on this angles coffin. We shal see in due course I'm sure.
RaiZ-R brings up a very good point. I think this could be a four to five week build up of Kip changing his image. I personally was never a big fan of his association with the beautiful people. If he slowly converts to a non-flaming homo I think he could be a great member in the MEM.
I think calling the New Age Outlaws a highlight of the Attitude Era is pretty generous. They were a fixture for a time, sure, but were they really an important one?
The "Main Event" title is dubious as is. Booker T wasn't even a midcarder in TNA until he had a couple of matches with Joe. Steiner's lower down the card than AJ and Joe. Nash hasn't seen a main event in years. The only true main eventers in the stable are Sting and Angle.
I expect Brother Ray may be joining soon, too. There's obviously not a long list of criteria you have to meet.
