The last episode of iMPACT featured less than 18 minutes of wrestling. Yes, you read that correctly. A 2 hour "wrestling" show couldn't even crack 18 minutes. ECW on Sci-Fi had more wrestling than that, and the show is only an hour long. Which brings me to my question: Should a "wrestling" show that featues only 15% of wrestling be considered Total Nonstop Action? Fuck, Hogan Knows Best had more action than iMPACT. It seems like blatant false advertising to me. I suggest that TNA changes their name to BPSSWALBOW, a.k.a. Boring Pointless Stupid Skits With A Little Bit Of Wrestling. That name would fit their currect product much better than trying to pretend thier show actually features any "action." What do you guys think?
It is insane. For a company who prides themselves on their in-ring work ethic.. It points to everything that is wrong with the way they are booking this horribly run promotion.
They had a music video on iMPACT that lasted like 5 minuites, I was bored as hell, and the ad breaks are forever

And when there is no hope,
"I'll smoke some crack, I'll shoot some dope!"
When theres no enemies,
"I sit and stare at my T.V.
and in my ignorance,
I'll be a slave and sycophant!"
Closed due to being a near idential rip of what Lance Storm said. Try be original in future.
lol overruled
And if anyone wants to know all of the statistics for the show, it breaks down as 15% of wrestling, 27% of commercials, and 58% of backstage skits and promos. Fucking commercials have almost twice as much time as the wrestling.

Out of curiosity...where did you get that stat? Or are you making it up?
Lance Storm's latest blog. A few other interesting points he brought up.
Quote:
- Why would any sane person book Jay Lethal vs. Alex Shelley and Christy Hemme vs. Sejourner Bolt on the same show and decide to give the latter match more than twice the time as the former? We had the opportunity to see Jay Lethal and Alex Shelly wrestling in TNA (Total Nonstop Action) and they were given less than 2 minutes for their match. What a wasted opportunity to entertain fans! I guess the thought process must be that the big Sejourner Bolt heel turn will draw ratings and PPV buys. I know I’m on the edge of my seat waiting to find out where that angle goes. Are there not already more heels than faces in the Knockouts division?

- Is TNA trying to appeal to the mentally challenged by booking so many unbelievably stupid people on the program? I’m not saying this is a bad idea; it might be a good target market for them because I don’t see how or why any sane people could follow this show. The Beautiful people are so incredibly stupid that they not only think this fake Sarah Pallin is the real person (and no one in TNA has pointed out to them that she is not) but they also think she and John McCain won the election. Abyss is also now apparently ******ed, not knowing the difference between cartoons and real life, and I know Curry man is “Japanese” but how does that translate into him being so stupid that he actually thinks there is a Fired Championship in TNA. Perhaps he thought Booker was inventing another pointless Title.

- I know it’s his gimmick but why the hell was James Storm allowed to come to the ring with a beer bottle in his hand, in a beer bottle on a pole match? Why bother climbing the ****ing pole, when he is allowed to bring a beer bottle to ring side with him? Have you ever seen a weapon on a pole match where one of the guys in the match just comes out with the weapon to start the match?
I especially agree with the part about how everyone in TNA is treated like they're legitimately retarded.
I actually watch TNA every single week. I love the wrestlers, but I do hate alot of the skits and gimmicks. I still prefer TNA over WWE, but that doesnt say much. Except for Santino, WWE for me is complete bore.
As far as what Lance Storm said, I think he has a point, but he is also being a little too harsh. What about all the good things TNA offer? What about The Women's division? What about the X Division? What about the Main Event Mafia? What about Tna pushing guys people actually like? (AJ, Samoa, MCMG, Bashir)

Do you have a reason not to give The Half Boy your vote for the Hall of Fame?
Well.. the women's division is pushing Christy Hemme as the top babyface which many people are and maybe should be down on... and the x-division hasn't had a meaningful feud in forever.
