I know the reports are saying he'd only be back in a limited fashion, but would you like to see JJ come back as a full time roster member and not just an authority figure?
I would love to see him come in and have a spot after the MEM storyline is done and over with. But only if he is in as a heel. In my opinion he is the best heel in the company bar none. And I would love to see the return of Planet Jarrett.

If its a full time return the i think he would have to be heel. Minus Angle, no-one can come close to the heat he can get. But if he wants to stay as a face, then his current role is best, maybe with a little more wrestling.

I figured the obvious storyline was that he would turn heel and join the NWO,,,, er, MEM I mean. I don't think that would lead to a full time return. More of taking over the role Sting appears to take as the nonwrestling presumed leader (except that he still wrestles).
I wish Sting would retire. As much as I don't like JJ, I'd rather see him than Sting 98% of the time. The 2% is the time that I get to see Sting being beaten.

I am not quite sure about a full time role. Maybe a little more wrestling in the role he is in. Double J seems to be better suited to the backstage role but I have to agree that he would be a good in ring heel if the time called for it but now, I would have to say no to him returning in the ring especially full time.
Can I ask: Why isn't JJ wrestling full time anymore?
I know his wife passed away a few years back and he kinda stepped back from the business then. Was that the reasoning why he isn't in the ring currently?

Pretty much. His wife passed away about a year and a half ago. Add in three young kids to take care of and a company to run, i'd say wrestling was the last thing he wanted to do.
Storyline reasoning is sorta similar, he feels he has nothing left to prove and wants to step aside from active wrestling for the younger generation to take over.

I think Jarret needs to stay on the sidelines. He still has the ability to put on a good match as we saw with his last bout with Kurt Angle at Bound For Glory. But you got to question how many more of those does he have left in his tank? I mean, he isn't young anymore and he's a great figure on camera.
I say you take the two positives and have him stay as an on screen character or at least as a manager or something. Jarret can still wrestle every now and then but a full time return might be a little too much for him to take.
