TNA are screwing this up

I personally love the Main Event Mafia vs Frontline angle, and I think that is the main reason people are actually caring about TNA again, but I shouldn't have got my hopes up too much, because it seems like they are screwing up the whole angle now. I mean, surely the whole point of the TNA Frontline is that they are young guys who made their name in TNA? I can see why having maybe one old guy backing them up would be a good thing, and Rhino cut a great promo a few weeks ago which made me think he is right for them, but Team 3D? Seriously? The guys who were shitting all over the young guys just a few short months ago, wanting to kill the X Division? It makes no sense.

Having guys like 3D there is not only nonsensical booking, but takes some of the focus away from the guys who should be the whole focus of this angle.

Yeah Team 3D was putting down the X Division and if you noticed in that rivalry, the X Division beat the shit out of them. My problem with this whole Frontline vs MEM is that its become your classic heel vs face. When it first started, it was based off of neutral ground. Both sides had a point which allowed the fans to pick a side without feeling like they were supporting the classic heel. However, thanks to the announcers and Kurt Angles constant " Im goin to molest your childen, Jeff", its very clear who is heel and who is face.

Back to point, after Lethal stood up to Team 3D, and the X division became one collective unit. After hearing MEM saying that the Frontline couldnt be one unit, and having previous exp of a group becoming a unit, its very possible Team 3D had a change of heart.

It is and interesting thing that they are doing there, but I think they look at it like Rhino and 3D were from ECW and they compare the frontline to them. I think the general rule of thumb is the the casual wrestling fan has a memory span of 3 months. FOr thos eof us who care enough to post on here, not so much. But a lot of people don't look into it as deep as we do when we think about what 3d was doing to the X Division in the past...

However I do also see them turning on them at the PPV. That is when I could see JJ and Foley, if he hasn't turned as a leader figure in TNA for the MEM, get more involved.

Having watched the video of Brother Ray getting beaten down on youtube earlier on today, I now have no problems with Ray joining Frontline.

He now has a reason to hate MEM and that angle was the kind of angle I like WWE for, TNA are moving up in the world.

I wanted to write a story where Samoa joe and A. J stles would kick the hell out off Dvon and buh buh ray.

They should just break the whole front line. They shouldn't have ever bulit that faction so quickly. They moved too fast. They could have first just started with Samoa Joe and A.J. Styles. having the other wrestlers fearing to go up against the Main Event Mafia.

TNA cant break Sting form the faction either. If Kurt Angle leaves TNA Sting should lead them, by having all the members favor Sting as the new leader. If Kurt Angle decides to leave and Sting leaves the faction would be too small. That would be a big let down. So they better think of what their going to do with sting before they mess up the whole story.

Looks like Kurt will be leaving to me so they need to add at least 1 more member before he actually departs anyway.

I agree with what you're saying about Sting but Sting staying heel for such until spring '09? Not likely.

They need to get somebody else capable of leading the group.
