Recently TNA seem to be giving us a lot of title matchs on iMPACT! In the last two weeks we have had four title matches one of which was a World title match. Personally, i think this is a great idea as it gives people a reason to watch the show even if they are'nt intrested in any of the storylines. With Eric Young winning the X-Division title last week, it also gives the impression that there can be a new champion at any time. Sure he had to give the title back this week due to Shane Sewell's involvement but the original point still remains.
It also breaks up the feuds nicely especially if the feud is supposed to run for along time. Instead of having the two people who will be wrestling at the PPV going after each other every week, they can split them and put a title match in. Like Sting vs Lethal did. They arent exactly feuding with each other in the tradional sense of the word but it does still make sense and isnt just thrown together. Thrown together title matches are the worst but all the recent title matches have had a reason. Long may it continues in my view.

Actually by featuring the title matches it really can build a rapport between the belt and its holder. If you slide in the right amount of plot maybe just maybe I'll finally purchase a TNA PPV. I'm closer now than I ever have been.
