- The big story going into Thursday's "iMPACT!" is how the TNA originals like Samoa Joe and AJ Styles will react to the Main Event Mafia's total domination at Turning Point. The M.E.M. won all of their bouts, leaving the young lions of TNA at a huge disadvantage going into Thursday's broadcast. Is the war already over? How will the TNA originals react?
- Immediately following Sunday's Pay-Per-View, Executive Shareholder Mick Foley told TNAwrestling.com that he had met with TNA Founder Jeff Jarrett - and the two agreed that there will be THREE huge title matches on Thursday's broadcast starting at 9ET on SpikeTV! Who will get the shots - and who will defend their gold? Will The Main Event Mafia be forced to put their championships on the line? Tune in and find out!
- Speaking of the Main Event Mafia, they will add yet another member to the group this Thursday as - stipulated by his loss to Booker T at the PPV - "The Instant Classic" Christian Cage must join them! What will happen on Thursday when Cage is forced to side with Sting, Nash, Angle, Booker and Steiner? Will all hell break loose - or will Cage accept his new role in TNA?
- Plus, the broadcast will feature The Main Event Mafia's "Big Poppa Pump" Scott Steiner vs. "The War Machine" Rhino! Two of the biggest bad-asses in TNA Wrestling collide this Thursday night! Will Rhino be pulled into the war between the Main Event Mafia and the TNA Originals?

Re: iMPACT! Nov 13th 2008 - Three title Matches, Steiner vs Rhino
Christian Gets Made
JB reminds Jarrett & Foley about MEM sweeping the board at Turning Point. JB tells Jarrett that their is now a locker room full of guys with their heads down. Jarrett tells JB its not about how many times you get knocked down, its about how many times you get back up again. Jarrett says the Young Guys need to get back up, shake it off, and get back into the game tonight. Foley suggests someone goes out to the ring and addresses them personally to offer them some hope.
Foley says he was embarrassed on Sunday. Foley says some guys don’t know when to take things seriously, like Alex Shelley who was more focused on the size of his ass than on winning his match. Foley says he will be out there to deliver the message & he is not in the mood to joke around.
Mike Tenay again reminds us that MEM won everything at Turning Point as Don West tells us what is in store for tonight. The Knockouts are in action, Scott Steiner takes on Rhino & Christian Cage joins the MEM.
Foley is the first to make an appearance in the ring. Replays of Turning Point show as Foley walks to the ring. Highlights of Booker/Cage, Abyss/Angle, Nash/Joe & Styles/Sting air.
Foley says Turning Point was a less than stellar night for the TNA Originals (From here on out I will be calling them the Young Guns as only Styles in a true Original) & he wants to call some of them out. Foley calls out Styles who shows almost instantly. Samoa Joe, MCMG, Eric Young, Petey Williams, Jay Lethal & Creed are called out and all file out one after the other with no delay. Almost as if they were waiting backstage for their name to be called.
Foley repeats that he was embarrassed but it wasn’t by their efforts which were second to none. Foley says if it was all about heart, desire & talent then each one of them would be a champion. Foley single’s out Styles as TNA Champion & MCMG as tag. Foley says you don’t win respect with four losses and the young guns need to step up to the plate.
Foley pauses before asking Shelley if he was playing with a booger which got a laugh from the crowd. Foley asks if their is a problem between the two. Foley asks is the shape of his ass more important than the loss he suffered to Beer Money. Shelley doesn’t seem interested which causes Foley to shout at him to look at him. Foley says Shelley is a valuable piece of talent, but he is not however, invaluable. Foley promises he will deal with Shelley next week.
Joe is next. Foley says Joe beat Nash's ass from pillar to post but Nash still got the victory. Foley tells Joe that next time, their can be no more mental mistakes. Foley tells the young guns but Styles in particular that they need to learn from their mistakes, if they don’t, the MEM will strike them out every time.
Foley tells Eric Young that he earned a shot at Sheik Abdul Bashir and asks if he wants to take that shot tonight. Obviously he does. Foley then gives Styles & Joe title matches. Against Beer Money! Foley then asks the fans if they want a TNA World title match tonight. Who's going to say no to that? Foley then asks Lethal if he is ready to step up to the plate. Ohhhh Yeeeaaahh he is. Foley tells the Young Guns that when they step up to the plate tonight, to hit it out of the park.
Backstage, Christian has just arrived fashionably late. Lauren asks for his thoughts, Cage says it doesn’t matter as he doesn’t have a choice in the matter. MEM cut in. Angle welcomes Cage to the family & tells him tonight, the world is his as he officially joins the MEM. Steiner gives Cage a suit & tells him to put it on. Booker welcomes Cage to the family aswell. Once MEM leave, Cage shoves the suit into a near by trash bin.
ODB meanwhile, is building something. Lauren who seems a very quick walker, asks what exactly she is doing. ODB says she is building a set for her new talk show that debuts next week?
Knockouts tag action next. The United Nations, Isle of Man, Japan & Syria.
Rhaka Khan & Awesome Kong W/ Raisha Saeed vs. Roxxi & Taylor Wilde
Match gets jump started on the ramp as Khan & Kong take the fight to Roxxi. Taylor runs down the ramp and bounces off Kong for a hard landing on the ramp. Taylor is defiantly growing in popularity going by the Taylor chants which have only started the past few weeks. Taylor was taking a fair beating by Kong & Khan but finally got a break with a reverse lung blower to Kong. A short match is ended with the Implant Buster on Roxxi. The match would have been better had Rhaka Khan been a talented wrestler. Unfortunately she isn’t and i have yet to see much of an improvement in her since her first match all those months ago.
Awesome Kong & Rhaka Khan def Taylor Wilde & Roxxi.
Backstage and Lauren sure earns her money as she is now with the Machine Guns. Shelley explains that he sees the Young Guns as a snake. Styles & Joe as the head while everyone else is the tail. Shelley says he has no idea how Joe & Styles made it to the front as the last time he checked, this was America and not communist Russia. After a brief history lesson about Detroit, Shelley says he and Sabin are the toughest, strongest, fastest and most handsome and therefore should be at the front of the line instead of Joe & Styles. Sabin agrees but tells Joe & Styles to take their lead and do things like they do in Detroit. By any means necessary.
Office of Traci Brooks next. Traci at least got her hair done during her two month absence. Saeed tells Traci that Kong wants new competition. Saeed tells Traci to find new opponents and if she doesn’t, Kong will start to feed on innocent civilians. After Kong leaves Lauren asks Khan why she turned on Taylor. Khan says who wouldn’t want to be on the same side as the beast. After Khan leaves Traci calls them a bunch of freaks.
X-Division Championship Eric Young vs. Sheik Abdul Bashir (c)
Eric Young is no longer residing in an undisclosed location but instead in Nashville, TN. Eric is still as popular as ever in the impact zone but then again, put anyone against Bashir & they will get cheered. Bashir gains the advantage with a low blow. Shane Sewell suspects it but didn’t see it. He counts to two but stops and asks the fans about the low blow. They confirm Bashir did. Bashir shoves Sewell which prompts Sewell to lose it and attack Bashir. Eric hits the Death Valley Driver to get the three count and become X-Division Champion. Petey, Creed, Lethal, MCMG, ODB, Styles & Joe all come to the ring to congratulate Eric.
Eric Young def Sheik Abdul Bashir.
Victory Party backstage. Eric dedicates the victory to Foley. Eric tells the other Young Guns that from here on out, its there time to shine. Eric says one down, two to go.
Rough Cut featuring LAX. Growing up the only way Hernandez was allowed play football was if the coaches guaranteed he wouldn’t get hurt. The guy was massive back then, i doubt he would have gotten hurt that badly. Hernandez got into wrestling because of size basically. Hernandez says Homicide is the general and considers him a mentor.
MEM mafia locker room. Angle dismisses Eric victory saying he didn’t beat anyone in the MEM. They are interupted by Petey Williams. Booker tells him to get out. Steiner stops him and tells Petey he can talk later after his match.
Lauren with Lethal. Lethal reminds us that he shocked the world before when he beat Angle and tonight the Stinger will get Stung. Petey wishes Lethal luck in his match. When Lethal leaves Lauren tells Petey to be careful about meeting Steiner later. Petey says they are cool and there is nothing to worry about.
Scott Steiner vs. Rhino
Angle joins Tenay & West on commentary. Steiner hits an overhead belly to belly on Rhino for a two count. When Hebner says it was two Steiner tells him to shut up. Hebner must have a death wish as he then told Steiner to shut up. Angle prevents Rhino from starting the Gore which allowed Steiner to hit a T-Bone suplex to pick up the win.
Scott Steiner def Rhino.
JB with Sting. Lauren must be in the toilet or something. Sting says he isn’t worried about his match tonight as he has heard it all before. Sting says sooner or later, the Young Guns will notice the losses keep coming and will start to point fingers at each other. Sting says they don’t even respect each other.
TNA World Championship Jay Lethal vs. Sting (c)
Seeing as this isn’t the main event, Sting is keeping the gold 100%. He wasn’t likely to lose it, but now we know he wont. Sting is finally getting over as a heel as his reaction was pretty mixed. Lethal gets a lot of early offence in and a couple of two counts. MCMG have made their way to the ring to support Lethal as Sting begins to take over fully. Shelley distracts the ref as Sabin goes in and holds Sting for Lethal to get some free shots in. Lethal doesn’t take them resulting in an argument between Sabin & Lethal. Lethal throws Sabin out of the ring resulting in Sting hitting the Scorpion Death Drop for the win. The best part about this match was the fact that Lethal didn’t look out of place in it. TNA have done a really good job of making him something with the Black Machismo gimmick.
Sting def Jay Lethal.
Joe and Styles are quickly to the ring after the bell. Joe and Styles argue with the MCMG until Creed tries to calm them down. ODB & Eric soon join him. Lethal and MCMG continue to argue as we go backstage.
Nash, Angle, Booker & Steiner are beating on Petey somewhere backstage. Steiner brings Petey up a ladder and tosses him off and out of camera view. We don’t see where Petey landed.
Now we get to see Petey in a pool of blood as the Young Guns crowd around him along with Lauren and a medic. No MCMG present though. Petey isn’t moving.
JB with Beer Money Inc. Roode puts himself and Storm over as the greatest tag team today. Roode says he could buy and sell Foley ten times over. Roode tells Foley to hit the road with his Jon Bon Jovi hairstyle. Storm tells Joe and Styles to concentrate on them and not the soap opera they are currently involved in.
Tag Team Championships Samoa Joe and AJ Styles vs. Beer Money Inc (c)
Where the hell does Storm get these things? He has a Beer Scooter tonight! Tenay tells us Team 3D were scheduled to join the commentary for the main event but they are yet to do so. Why Storm hasn’t gotten involved in the MEM vs. Young Guns feud yet in some part is beyond me. He is one of the few true originals left in TNA. Even Roode has been there longer then a lot of the so called Originals. Now Team 3D make an appearance. Even later than Christian Cage did earlier in the night. Devon says something about being able to do whatever they want since last Tuesday. Ray explains that "I think he means because Obama is the president now that he can do whatever he wants. First Obama gets into office, now Devon does all the talking, what’s next? Don West is going to get over?"
Team 3D say they agree with the MEM more than the Young Guns. Ray questions why the MEM haven’t invited Team 3D to join them yet. Once Joe gets tagged in he kicks all kind of ass. Roode regains the advantage with an eye rake but Joe retakes control and attempts a muscle buster. Storm spits beer in his face and lines up for the last call. Ray doesn’t let it happen and spits beer into Storm's face causing a DQ finish.
Beer Money Inc def Samoa Joe and AJ Styles.
3D clear out Beer Money after the bell but Styles isn’t happy. Roode has a pretty busted nose as 3D continue to argue with Styles and Joe in the ring.
Suicide promo. "They will remember, the pain that they caused, its driven me to madness, revenge will be mine".
A public service announcement brought to you by the Beautiful people. The Beautiful People invite Sarah Palin to join them due to the amount she spent on new clothes during the election campaign. Angelina Love says if she accepts the offer, she will find out what it is like to be part of a winning team.
MEM on their way to the ring, apparently Steiner didn’t have the time to get changed as he is half wrestling gear, half black suit. Angle seems to be trying to make Cage's mind up in real life. He said Booker & Nash turned down big offers from other companies to fight the good fight & make TNA the best in the world. And they are getting paid pretty well to do it.
Angle then actually does bring up the Cage contract negotiations. Angle says they have all had the offers from WWE but they turned them down. Angle says this isn’t a welcoming party, its a going away party. Angle says he hopes Cage's trip up north is worth the ass kicking he is going to get.
Cage starts swinging but four on one is too much for him. Belly to belly from the top rope by Steiner, Axe Kick by Booker, Jacknife by Nash, Angle Slam by Angle. If Christian does leave, he doesn’t get to do it the way Gail Kim did, Cage goes out a beaten man. MEM stand over the battered and beaten Christian Cage to end the show.
