Who should and will be the contender for the TNA title? Joe signed a no return match clause so outside of him, who should get the push and why?
-- To me personally I see it being AJ Styles as I think that it has been set up over the past months to give it to him. The storyline is there and I think he has improve tremendously on the mic and I think he could be a legit challenger.
I would like to see however Robert Roode get his shot. I don't think I would put him over Sting, but it would be a good feud IMO and would add a little bit of legs to Stings run and to his cause. If anyone has the position to play the arrogant role right now from the TNA group I'd look to him as being "the guy."
Another guy I think would fit in good as leading the next generation would be someone in the mold of a Hernandez or Matt Morgan. Amazing talents, but that won't happen due to lack of story build.

I'd be suprised if Roode got a title shot. Storm seems more likely considering the rivalry he had with Sting over the summer. To be honest, i dont see either of them getting a title match as it stands. If its not AJ Styles, the only person i can think it would be is Jay Lethal.
My vote goes to Styles.

Styles is perfect for the number one contenders spot right now. With no Joe rematch, and AJ having been Joe's back-up over the past few months, and the fact that Sting's rivalry has been with both of them as well. AJ just fits.

Robert Roode wont get a title shot. He's already got a title.
AJ Styles will most doubtfully Wrestle for the Title.
With the rumours floating around about Abyss V Angle at the PPV I could actually see Nash, Booker, Joe, AJ or Even Mick wrestle for the title.
Roode won't get a title shot cos he isn't a singles star, not cos he already has a title cos that's never stopped any promoter before ever.
I don't see Nash or Booker challenging their stable buddy for the title, Joe signed a no rematch clause, and Mick is far to out of shape right now to be an active wrestler (although I do see him getting in the ring at some point).
