The following is an early preview courtesy of TNA management (card subject to change):
- TNA Wrestling management has agreed to allow wrestling legend Mick Foley the opportunity to say goodbye to the fans after fulfilling his role as special enforcer at Bound For Glory! After being a part of the biggest night on TNA Wrestling history, Foley will apparently close the book on his storied and epic career this Thursday on "iMPACT!" on SpikeTV!
- The NEW TNA World Heavyweight Champion "The Icon" Sting will appear on Thursday's "iMPACT!" to address what went down at the Pay-Per-View event! Sting claimed the World Title at his third straight Bound For Glory - what's next for the icon? Tune in and find out! Plus, there will be an update on former champion Samoa Joe following Sunday's epic event, as well as Kevin Nash making his return and costing Joe the gold!
- In singles action, Booker T (with Sharmell) will take on Hernandez of The Latin American Xchange
- In Knockouts action, Roxxi is scheduled to take on Awesome Kong's manager, Raisha Saeed
- In tag team action, it will be still-reigning TNA X Division Champion Sheik Abdul Bashir teaming with "The Guru" Sonjay Dutt take face The Motor City Machineguns
- Plus, more news and matches will be announced for next Thursday's LIVE "iMPACT!" broadcast from Las Vegas as TNA goes HI DEFINITION on SpikeTV!

Why the hell did Foley sign with TNA just to say "goodbye"...post an interweb blog or something.
He's not going to say goodbye, TNA has been trying to make it sound like Foley came to TNA just for Bound for Glory. Foley signed a 6 month deal with TNA, and will probably stay longer, if he stays as happy as he is right now. So Foley is probably gonna come out to the ring, and say good things about TNA, and pretend like he's going to leave. Then most likely Angle will come out all upset at Foley for costing him the match against Jarrett, and they will start a angle between the two. I'm still not sure if Foley will be getting in the ring to face Angle at Turning Point either in a singles or tag match, but Foley is going to stay in TNA and probably be in a storyline with Angle.
I think maybe a tag at Turning Point. Foley & Jarrett against Angle & Booker.
Thats what I'm thinking, because I dunno if Foley would be ready to wrestle a guy like Angle in a singles match after not having a serious wrestling(Foley wrestled the Coach in October and Highlanders with Hornswoggled in January) match since June of 07. So Mick and TNA might wanna start off with a tag match, and then if things well Foley and Angle could have a singles match next month.
Re: iMPACT! - October 16th 2008 - Mick Foley says Goodbye, Booker vs Hernandez
- The Motor City Machineguns beat X Champion Sheik Abdul Bashir and "The Guru" Sonjay Dutt in tag team action. After the bout, Kurt Angle attacked both teams and said he wouldn't stop the carnage until he got Jeff Jarrett back in the ring.
- Later, after assaulting several TNA stars and staff, Jarrett confronted Angle and told him there wouldn't be another match, because Jarrett has a company to run. As Jarrett left the ring, Angle told him that perhaps he would pay a visit to Jeff's home - and his children! Jarrett tried to storm the ring in response, but security held him back.
- After that, Mick Foley came out to say goodbye to the TNA fans, as he gave his farewell speech to close the book on his career. However, Jarrett got to Foley before he left the arena, asking Mick to "hear him out" in privacy backstage. Later in the broadcast, JB tried to get to the bottom of their talk as Foley and Jarrett were leaving the arena, but all Foley would reveal was that they would announce their plans to the world on Thursday's live iMPACT from Las Vegas.
- The wrestling word heard from new TNA World Heavyweight Champion Sting, who got into a war of words with AJ Styles over he respect issue. It resulted in a pull-apart between the two TNA superstars.
- "Big Sexy" Kevin Nash (in his in-ring return) defeated Consequences Creed. After the bout, Nash had some harsh words for Samoa Joe. Nash said he never forgot the disrespect Joe showed him, and gave Joe fair warning that "Big Sexy is back".
- In the main event of the broadcast, Kurt Angle beat Matt Morgan. After the bout as Angle poured on the punishment, Abyss attempted to help his tag team partner, but Angle attacked him as well!
- Booker T promises to reveal the contents of the mysterious briefcase on the live iMPACT from Las Vegas. Later, in singles action, Booker defeated Hernandez of The Latin American Xchange.
- Roxxi beat Raisha Saeed in Knockouts action, but Awesome Kong annihilated Roxxi after the match.

Re: iMPACT! - October 16th 2008 - Mick Foley says Goodbye, Booker vs Hernandez
Impact has been lacking any real excitement of late. It's a bunch of predictable and un-exciting matches, with some irritating promos in between. They need to mix it up a bit and stop trying to shock us and start trying to entertain us.
