A Horsemen Rebirth in TNA

So, I was just thinking.. if Ric Flair was to ever go to TNA, I wouldn't mind seeing him recreate the Four Horsemen.

The perfect lineup would be: Ric Flair, Beer Money Inc. (Storm & Roode), and "The Blueprint" Matt Morgan.

Each man I've mentioned has the look, charisma, and are young enough to get a good rub from aligning with The Nature Boy.

Discuss.

Re: A Horsemen Rebirth in TNA

if it would ever happen i think that would be a great team, however... who would turn heel/face, beer money is great as heel, so is flair, but how about morgan? we haven't gotten to see a heel morgan yet and beer money and flair are great heels, however i don't think beer money face is a good idea either

Re: A Horsemen Rebirth in TNA

Naturally, this would probably work best as a heel stable but they could certainly lean it toward being 'centrist' .. positioned in the middle. For Matt Morgan a heel turn would be seamless.

you think morgan could pull it off? (assuming seamless means easy)

Yes, a smooth transition. Look at his babyface mannerisms. He's a cocky guy. It's not a stretch that the role he plays on the show could be turned heel in an instant.

Re: A Horsemen Rebirth in TNA

that's true... i forgot about the cocky factor...i dunno i personally think morgan would just kinda feel left out i don't know why but he just seems left out in that bunch.. maybe have..nevermind after looking at the roster no one else could do it, but do you really think it would work? i mean DX reunion was shit.. and DX was "HUGE"

Re: A Horsemen Rebirth in TNA

DX was shit because it was two or the most popular (but clearly aging) superstars teaming back up and running around burying their foes all the while acting as if they were juveniles utilizing pathetic potty humor. It didn't help anyone.

This does. Yes, it's Flair doing what Flair has always done.. but it's also elevating 3 potential superstars by rolling with one of the true legends of the industry.

Re: A Horsemen Rebirth in TNA

Also, this verison of DX was like DX Lite.

Shawn Michaels was not willing to do things he did during the first run. It just didn't have that edge to it.

A new DX could have been great. They needed to bring in some younger stars to it though and give it a different feel. It seemed they were trying to protect the integrity of the original DX and in doing so, ruined it instead.

A new Horsemen could work.

Have 3 younger stars along with Ric Flair? That sounds like a winner to me.

It can be done, the question is will they do it right.

Wouldn't WWE own the Horsemen name now courtesy of their owning the rights to the WCW/JCP promotion catalogues and trading?

I'm not sure if a trademark is owned by anyone due to the widespread use of it in pop culture.
