On Thursday night, TNA Wrestling returns to SpikeTV for two hours of Total Nonstop Action as the road continues to TNA's biggest Pay-Per-View of the year on Sunday, October 12 with Bound For Glory!
The below is a preview of what is scheduled for Thursday's broadcast. (Card is subject to change) :
- Wrestling icon Mick Foley will officially join TNA Wrestling! TNAwrestling.com can confirm that Foley will be in attendance on "iMPACT!" for the first time! The question is, what are his plans in TNA? Will he address the wrestling world? If so, what will he say? Tune in to witness this historic TNA moment and find out!
- According to multiple sources, Jeff Jarrett is angry over the recent comments made by Kurt Angle about TNA in the UK Sun Newspaper! Rumor has it that Jarrett - as the founder of TNA - will publicly address these controversial comments on Thursday's broadcast on Spike. The question is, with Angle and Jarrett set to battle at Bound For Glory, could all hell break loose between the two TNA superstars on Thursday night?
- In Six Man tag team action, it will be "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles, "The Instant Classic" Christian Cage and "Black Machismo" Jay Lethal teaming up to take on Booker T and Team 3D!
- Also this Thursday will be a qualifying match for the Monster's Ball Tag Team match at Bound For Glory! It will be The Motor City Machineguns vs. The Latin American Xchange, with the winning team advancing to the Monster's Ball bout at the epic Pay-Per-View event in Chicago!
- "iMPACT!" will also feature an X Division Championship match as titleholder Sheik Abdul Bashir defends the gold against Eric Young and Jimmy Rave in a three-way match
- In Knockouts action, it will be ODB taking on Angelina Love of The Beautiful People!

The X-Division titlematch looks pretty randomly booked, but hopefully it'll be worth watching. Good to see Rave wrestle without Rock for a while.
I thought the exact same. I cant remeber the last time he wrestled as Eric Young now out of the blue he is in a title match? It wont happen but i'd love for Jimmy Rave to get the win. Even just to lose it in the Steel Asylum at Bound for Glory.

Re: iMPACT! - AJ, Cage & Lethal vs Booker & Team 3D, LAX vs MCMG
- On the broadcast, TNA founder Jeff Jarrett had some very candid and angry words for Kurt Angle regarding a recent interview he did in the United Kingdom's "Daily Star" newspaper regarding his old boss, Vince McMahon. To get back at the Olympian, Jarrett aired footage of Angle from when he first came to TNA, including Kurt hammering McMahon. For his comments about TNA, Management Director Jim Cornette fined Angle $25,000!
- Wrestling icon Mick Foley made his first TNA Wrestling in-ring appearance and talked about leaving the WWE and some of the reasons he wanted to come to TNA! However, Foley was interrupted by an angry Kurt Angle. Before the broadcast ended, Foley dropped a bombshell by telling Angle he will be the special guest enforcer for the Jarrett vs. Angle match at "Bound For Glory" on October 12 in Chicago!
- In the Monster's Ball Qualifying match, The Latin American Xchange defeated The Motor City Machineguns to advance to the PPV bout. Later in the broadcast, after some trashing talking by Beer Money, Inc. brought out all the teams involved in the PPV bout, Jim Cornette stuck it to Beer Money by announcing the Monster's Ball match would now be for their TNA World Tag Team Championship! TNAwrestling.com has also revealed that former Chicago Bears star and wrestling personality Steve "Mongo" McMichael will return to the wrestling spotlight at Bound For Glory to be the special referee for the match!
- In a X Division Championship match, Sheik Abdul Bashir retained the gold by beating Jimmy Rave and Eric Young when he beat EY. After the bout, Bashir took great joy in making referee Shane Sewell raise his arm in victory.
- In six man action, the alliance of Booker T and Team 3D defeated AJ Styles, Christian Cage and Jay Lethal after more miscommunication between Cage and Styles.
- In Knockouts tag team action, the tandem of ODB and Rhaka Khan beat The Beautiful People when Rhaka got the pin. After the bout, Cute Kip came out to help Angelina and Velvet attack ODB and Rhaka, but Rhino hit the ring for the save!

Re: iMPACT! - AJ, Cage & Lethal vs Booker & Team 3D, LAX vs MCMG
I hate how we know that Bound For Glory will somehow involve Cage/Styles but it has been left to the very last Impact before it to be confirmed.
It makes sense to me to have Cage take the vetrans side and Foley take the young prospects side, and have each turn on their respective peers at some point in the future.
Re: iMPACT! - AJ, Cage & Lethal vs Booker & Team 3D, LAX vs MCMG
If it does end up Cage & Styles one on one, where the hell does Booker fit in? Im still expecting it to be a three way wherein Cage turns on Styles & joins with the Vets.
