It seems to be coming tradition for TNA to get a big(-ish) name from WWE in recent years.
2004 - Jeff Hardy
2005 - Christian Cage
2006 - Kurt Angle
2007 - Booker T
2008 - Mick Foley
With the exception of Jeff Hardy, they all went straight from WWE to TNA. Hardy had a few months in between. So who, if any, do you think will be added to that list for 2009?

2009 - Rob Van Dam
Hopefully Rob Van Dam, but i believe if he returns to wrestling it may very well might be back to the W.W.E. If he would have made his decision earlier, after leaving the WWE. he might have gone to T.N.A.
But just like Chris Jericho went to the WWE after a long hiatus, Rob Van Dam might do the same. Especially now that he's feelings toward the WWE might have cooled down.
If i were T.N.A. i would pay him good money to come to T.N.A. He can make a huge impact and hurt the WWE.
Imagine Rob Van Dam in T.N.A. R.V.D. is E.C.W. and fans will come follow him to T.N.A. T.N.A. has to make it known that there bring the Extreme to T.N.A.
Rob Van Dam was the cause of E.C.W. revival. He brought up the idea to Vince McMahon to make an E.C.W. P.P.V.
the trend looks as though they get older year by year. so who is older than mic foley? maybe it will be ric flair?
i only kid.. that would be a waste of time and money.
i wouldnt really wanna see rvd in tna either. his matches are kind of an endless loop and there are midcard/younger guys that i would like to see put into the main event eventually, like roode.
rvd wouldnt bring a whole lot to the x-division either IMO. cant see him keeping up with the fast pace. i would rather see some more young talent brought up to strengthen what put tna on the map.
I could imagine Bobby Lashley, or RVD. I could also see a disgruntled employee we either know of now, or that could become disgruntled and willing to make a move. Carlito or Batista could be interesting.

I think we'd all rather see TNA use it's current talent wisely and build stars, but I believe what God was trying to do was create a debate as to who TNA might poach/WWE might let go next year.
I would say Carlito, but his brother coming in might help ground him some.
Maybe Jeff again, if he makes a fresh mess on WWE time, but who knows where he's concerned.
I don't see RVD going to TNA at all now, after he was back in the 'E for that Raw special ages back. Things seems cosy there again.
