Maybe if you knew what a spoiler was, i'd take your complaint. But considering they announced it themselves....

Should they have announce this? What happen to the element of surprise i was talking about. didn't they have enough from the P.P.V. to built up the show? They probally did the right thing. not sure about that, but they better deliver something good this night.

What will be Mick Foley's role? Referee?

T.N.A. Biggest Show of the Year? *Spoiler 9/18*

Jeff Jarrett return after 2 year of absence.
Mick Foley 1st T.N.A Impact apearence

Than came the War of the Words. How younger wrestlers should respect the veterans and viceversa.

Jeff Jarrett made it known that it wasn't about respect that it was about giving the the younger wrestlers a chance to shine.

That W.C.W. fall from grace was due to veterans not wanting pass the torch, fearing to lose their spot and their big paychecks.

But in reality T.N.A or wrestling is about both and trying to give a good mixture of veterans with younger stars. Like Gee O Dee mentioned. Imagine if it was R.O.H. had a Sting & a Kurt Angle wouldn't that put them in the "map"of pro wrestling.

But what mostly got my attention of this show was the feeling.
The feeling that T.N.A. might be striving to raise the bar to a whole other level. Much of these emotions i was having was because of all the legends and their promos. Kurt Angle,Sting,Jeff Jarrett. Over 30 world Titles total. Adding the fact Mick foley apeared and what he might bring to "table."

Could a war between the Veterans and the younger wrestlers be good enough to bring fans interest in to T.N.A? Jeff Jarrett may have a great concept of what T.N.A. is about and what he want's it to be. But can he diliver with the talent he has? Is this story good enough to stir up fans attention and tune in to T.N.A. impact on a regular bases.

Did this show gave anyone a sense that they were watching more than an ordinary T.N.A. show? Or was this just a one show deal?
With Mick foley now in T.N.A. and yet to make his official introduction Speech on T.N.A. maybe this can be the beginning of a turn around in T.N.A. history and a glimpse of things to come. Either that or i'm just hoping on this to much.

Re: iMPACT! - September 18th 2008 - Mick Foley debut!

- Mick Foley made his first TNA broadcast appearance, as Jeff Jarrett introduced the hardcore icon after Kurt Angle challenged "The King Of The Mountain" to fight him at Bound For Glory. How will the landscape of TNA Wrestling change with Foley's debut? What does Foley have to do with the problems between Jarrett and Angle? Expect more big news on Foley and TNA Wrestling on next Thursday's broadcast!

- Speaking of Jarrett, he had some incredibly emotional words for Sting and Kurt Angle about the veterans of the business holding down the young superstars. As mentioned above, Angle challenged Jarrett to fight him at Bound For Glory - but Jarrett told the Olympic gold medalist not to push him...and then pointed to the big screen, signaling the appearance of Foley!

- The team of AJ Styles and Christian Cage defeated The Motor City Machineguns after AJ beat Sabin with the Styles Clash. After the bout, Cage tried to shake hands with Alex Shelley, but Shelley flipped off Cage and it nearly led to a brawl!

- The Prince Justice Brotherhood defeated Petey Williams, Jimmy Rave and Johnny Devine in six man action

- During the broadcast, Beer Money's Jacqueline came out and got into a confrontation with LAX's Hector Guerrero. Later on, it was announced that LAX will face Beer Money next week, and the losing team loses the services of their manager!

- TNA World Champion Samoa Joe and "The Icon" Sting both spoke out about their upcoming TNA World Heavyweight Championship match at "Bound For Glory".

- Booker T defeated "Black Machismo" Jay Lethal after interference by Lethal's former bride turned backstabber, SoCal Val!

- "The War Machine" Rhino and TNA Women's Champion Taylor Wilde defeated Cute Kip and Velvet Sky of the Beautiful People in mixed tag team action. After the bout, Awesome Kong hit the ring and joined the Beautiful People in annihilating Rhino and Wilde.

I think some should be surprise, some not so much. Building to their major PPV and with it being someone who is going to only be there in a limited fashion, I think it's the right move here.

Re: iMPACT! - September 18th 2008 - Mick Foley debut!

I didn't see it, but it sounds like business as usual from TNA (i.e. total retardation). Jarrett talks up how he made TNA for the younger generation then brings in a guy who "retired" nearly a decade ago? What the fucking fuck? And surely advertising something like this is just a desperate plea for ratings...

Re: iMPACT! - September 18th 2008 - Mick Foley debut!

I thought this was a pretty disappointing episode actually. It started well with Joe's promo and the AJ/Cage vs. MCMG match, and ended well with Kurt's contribution in particular being stunning in the Jarrett speech and Foley debut (which was just lame to be honest, and I'm a mark for Foley) but the middle lack any definition and seemed to be cobbled together with little thought.

The PJB vs. Petey Williams (why?), Johnny Devine (why?) and Jimmy Rave (why?). Ok, I understand that Rock 'n' Rave my still have legs in a fued with PJB while Curry Man chases Christy, but why have Petey do the job when he should be challenging for the X-title (which he should never have lost anyway) and why involve that waste of space Johnny Devine?

And the mixed tag match was obviously the "blemish" Angelina Love was complaining about.
