Who Deserves Who's Respect?

Veterans vs Rookies
Sting vs Joe

In a Clash for Respect the next Generation vs the Old.
The Stinger, the Icon Sting will face of against the Samoan Submission Machine, Samoa Joe. Who will win who's respect?

On they're first match i doubt any respect will be given to another.
Respect can't be determine by the out come of the Match. Not the respect their looking for. They may respect their opponents ability, but not really who they are? Who should respect who?

Honestly i have to see more whats going on to understand if any of them is worthy of more respect than the other. Without knowing much about the story, you might just feel that Sting should earn more respect than what is giving to him by his fellow competitors. After all he been around longer, he's older, and has done many things worthy of respect.

One of those things is- he hasn't sold out to another wrestling company for more fame or more money. He did pay the way for younger stars in this business. Probally the way he has tried to earn they're respect might be the questioned. But havn't they been to quickly to judge. Havn't they gone to far by beating down wrestlers like Kurt Angle after defeating them.

How can they earn respect this way? How can they prove to be much different than doing the same thing their opponents would do. If beating the living hell out of their opponent is what they call respect. Then their wrong. You don't win respect this way. You can intimidate your rival, and than when you less expect it, payback can strike back with a vengeance. And there's no guaranteed you can come back from that.

You don't win respect by doing things that are wrong, but by proving that you were right. And if your wrong than you should respect yourself enough to admit it. Or else nothing will ever change. And you'll never earn respect for yourself or anyone elses.

So who do you respect more? Or who are you Routing For? Who has earn your Respect?

Re: Who Deserves Who's Respect?

Who Deserves who's respect is a question that needs to be panned out.

Sting needs to retire soon, no doubting that. the new guys are also low on respect, Sting needs to realise that the days where Sting walked in and the newbie's would let him sit down are dead over. I truly believe Vince was the one who actually stopped this, he made Wrestling Non-Believable and even though he got quite a few more viewers, he ruined the professional in professional wrestling.

Sting does not need to retire now and I'm glad that they're not doing a retirement angle.

Sting has a good year left in him and his days are not dead, even with the TNA Impact! Zone booing Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, and other young faces, they cheer Sting because he's "Still Got It".

And also, I actually have to give respect for Vince McMahon because if it wasn't for him, Sports Entertainment would never be the same without him and trust me, he has not "ruined" the professional in professional wrestling.

THis is for sure a retirement angle. once this whole thing plays out over the next year it will end with Sting passing the torch off to someone in TNA. I see it being Morgan or AJ personally.

Ugh, I hope it is not Morgan. Sting better not win the title. If he does, he should retire right afterwards, vacating the title.

I think Sting has a great shout of winning. He's won at the last two BFG's & is yet to be pinned this year. Other than that, their is the advantage of progressing Storylines if Sting wins.

On the fact that Sting has won the last 2 BFGs against Jeff Jarrett and Kurt Angle this will only get Joe more over if he wins. The young stars have to come out on top, Joe has to win or this whole new blood shiz would just be pointless.

Re: Who Deserves Who's Respect?

They have to win it after a month? I wouldnt be suprised to see Sting win but Joe regains it before the end of the year.

Personally, i'd have Sting win at Bound for Glory, successfully defend against Joe at Genesis, Lose it to AJ at Turning Point. Styles defends against Sting, Booker & Joe at Final Resolution. Defneds against Angle at Against All Odds. Joe wins it back in a specialty match at Destination X involving two of the veterns aswell. Joe beats Sting at Lockdown to end the feud.

That's right... build him up so that WWE gets him with more credit, because we all know he'll sell himself out and that he will get buried within the REAL talent on the roster of a REAL company
